haha yeah. I remember trying to listen to livesets with a CD player. i would fast forward to something like 33minutes to listen to a great part. But then it went to 34 minutes....and i'd have to start all over again. Got really annoying

irivers can read cue/winamp playlist files so i dont think listening to a liveset is a problem

MD cuts tracks every 5,6,7,8, etc minutes on the go. iPod cant do this.

This discussion is getting so damn ridiculous. I'm planning on buying either of those two next year (ipod(mini?)/iriver).

The iPod is ugly as fuck, but this is personal preference. It's also more expensive. Nor does it have a color display.

That's kind of enough for a decision.

I just wanted the 60 gigs, but because it was a "PHOTO!" ipod i know i ended up paying at least 100 more dollars for it than i would have.

If I get a color display'd player that's at least as good as the alternative for FUCKING CHEAPER than a BW one, which do you think I'll buy?
