Oh, boy...all that analysing why people don't listen to trance. I think therefore people are people, they change during the years, and sometimes musictaste goes with that.
Some people do that and go listen that other music in silence, some people go on and feel so damn proud about this revelation in their life that their head went up their asses and it won't get out. And some people are content about their music as it is, and some are so content that they have to say it everytime again.
This 'why people do not listen to trance anymore' cannot ever be answered.

expand ur music horizons, problem solved
The same people who hate Trance also hate Star Trek and Trekkies... they are repelled by Escapist Culture, whether it is musical or on t.v..... and so the Escapists remain cordoned off, thus perpetuating the culture...
Who cares?/ (a typically Escapist answer)
cause its time for variety..with trance

| Originally posted by Dj Zak Well my journey with edm started 6 or 7 years ago it started out with atb stuff then darude then eventually things began to propagate and i got to love tiesto (when he was tiesto) i was so mad about his sets i got addicted to his livesets and because of that music i started considering djing maybe ...i got also to like armin so much but before i got to know him so well iio - rapture (john creamer and stephane k remix) hit me so hard i love this tune till this day ..then i got to listen to some of digweeds sets and i really like how unpredictable the music is ..and how there is so much greater room for innovation in that music ..it's more ellaborative and that was what trance lacked at that time progressive house was more appealing ..and since the year rapture was released i lost track of any trance music and i really hated it and what made me hate it more was paul van dyk .... i heard a liveset from the man and i decided it's never gonna be the same ...till recently i got into an argument with a trance fan at college ..i was like "Trance is dead man u still listening to that shit" he replies "Armin is alive" am like wtf are u talking about and i listen to a recent asot ...I reconsidered my thoughts ...Maybe no genre is bad but it's the flow .. the past years were house music time nourishment till now and it's going on ..but trance is still alive with some people and armin is definately one of them ..Not many are available and thats why many ppl hated trance it's not what it used to be n.b i need some help getting back !! this is my first post since many years ne help is acknowleged ..am staring to dig back my trance mix tapes (it's good to get the good from all) |
