-- Nominate The Best Electronic Music Artist Ever
Pages (8): « 1 2 3 4 5 [6] 7 8 »
A whole fucking load of rock groups have used electronic elements.
Thats not the point.
No fucking Limp Biscuit, or Train album was as influencial as Kid A This album did something for electronic music, the others you've named just use it.

Using electronic elements in songs does not make you an electronic artist and the day it does u2 will win something for best foreign single because of the "unos, doce, treis, quatarze" in the beginning of Vertigo ![]() Okay though I'll jump on the idea and I'd like to nominate Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit so add em onto the list |

Nu-Metal in a list of Best Electronic Music Artists?

If you can uncover the names of the producers from Warner Brothers and Interscope Records (respectively) who produced those electronic elements, then Ill be glad to add them to the list. |

| Originally posted by Blue. So you know for a fact that neither band produced any of the electronic elements in their songs at all? If not then my nominations are still up and I'd like them added to the next list |

| Originally posted by Blue. In your opinion, not those of everyone elses. We can nominate whoever we want right? So Limp Bizkit has my nomination |

| Originally posted by beats and beeps No, not my opinion. Limp Bizkit has offered nothing to electronic music. Radiohead has. Any fuckwad band can utilize a synthesizer, Radiohead actually did something important with it. |

Radiohead made pure electronic music. They didnt just shove it in with a bunch of guitars. They were smart enough to put down the guitars and make genuine electronic tracks.
Few bands have the guts to do that.
Fuck, they still do it even though they are back more rockish. You'll have some regular rock music on their A side, flip it over and there is "Where Bluebirds Fly" A completly electronic track.
Limp Bizkit wouldnt do that. His fans would be all like OMFG WTF IZ DIS TECKO SHIT MUTHER ******>!!1

| Originally posted by Blue. I'm happy that I could attempt to participate in this bias polling of "best artists that use any type of electronic "elements", except the ones that tribu disapproves of" |

I'm now nominating Madonna, since she's in the electronica category on amazon.com

While we're changing nominations lets change my nomination of Lange to Brian Eno, just for the sake of randomly fucking changing nominations that is

| Originally posted by tribu Im not positive, but I imagine Lange didn't have a hand in any of Brian Eno's productions, whereas William Orbit was behind Madonna's music on Ray of Light. It was far from a random change. What's behind this pisstake anyways? |

| Originally posted by Sand Leaper Well done, Eno certainly deserves it a lot more than fucking Lange |

Infected Mushroom
The Gathering (1999)
Classical Mushroom (2000)
B.P. Empire (2001)
Converting Vegetarians (2003)
IM The Supervisor (2004)
They have had a long and AMAZING career. They are one of the most CREATIVE minds in psy-trance and EDM in general. They have their very own style and don't make generalized Psy-Trance. Each album has an amazing edge and vibe to it that is totally different from the previous album which really shows how creative and eclectic they are. With "Psycho" , "Bust A Move" and "Symphonatic" as sure fire Psy-Trance CLASSICS if Infected Mushroom doesn't make it into the 1st round of voting, there's something definetly wrong w/ this...
