I just hope S&D on 4.1 is 21+. I'll be happy.

this thread's going nowhere...
have some cheese with that whine everyone.
honestly, 21 and under, don't take what people say here personally, but until you go to a 21 and over, you can't dispute our expierences in that setting. and 21 and over, well i guess we'll learn to deal with it. arc was 18+ and i loved it. maybe if crobar had bannination on alcohol you won't see stupid things....
No alcohol = No extra income..
Why are all the underage children in here still sobbing? No one said that you specifically are immature and ruin the parties. The majority of people below 21 just have a diffrent mentality and act differently, either getting loud with someone or drinking to much because they got away with it; bottom line is the younger crowd just responds differently to most things, and as some of you state no its different just because ur below the age, we (21over) see it first hand which we all have said and seen, aside from generalizations. No one said oh you dont know how to behave cause your not 21 so dont take it personally. saying that your all battyman and have a chip on your shoulders and think your all exceptions, well thats directed to you so take it personally. ya'll just need to cheeeeeeeeill wagwan

i personally dont care about the 18+ or 21+, i'm 21, and have fun regardless...
Prohibition in the clubs? ummm.......sorry but to me that sounds extremely lame.
How about then we sit around the club and all hold hands. We could just close our eyes and feel the music because... "man, I'm just here for the music......"
Don't think you can use prohibition in that context, when you turn 21 you wouldnt be banned. and yes without the mighty 18 year olds clubs would just turn into poetry sessions, its not like 20 and 30 year olds now anything about partying

Yeah, it was no alcohol and thus a drug palace. Therefore, eventually it gets the boot. But yeah, alcohol creates a lot more anger than other stimulants.
Isn't there a middle ground somewhere like good security/organized management/responsible clientele? I really haven't encountered many problems with fighting, arguments at Crobar with 21+.

wow lol
............ i'm 19 by the way, all this bullshyt about 21 + events make me laugh,(thats just an excuse to feel special)knowing that i'm from europe and that we have biggest names in trance, hardtrance ..etc and usually everything from clubs to raves are 18+ so to say that the little 3 year difference makes u more mature is false... i dont know any other countries in the world that have clubs 21+ lol its that ridiculous, i mean cmon i can go to the street parade, love parade, sensation, trance energy ...etc list goes on all of these events that i have mentioned are 18+ and everyone seems to b enjoying them, its all about the vibe and the music. The difference between the US and Europe is that in Europe people go for the love of the music regardless of the age bcause honestly no one gives a fuck, on the Other hand the US has limits on everything....

from drinkin to clubbin, i honestly think the age for drinkin should b 18+ (drinkin age is 16+ where im from)i dont see why 21 makes a huge difference from my knowledge of having been in both places (US and Europe). So yea back to the topic some of u people i have to admit are never satisfied and are always so selective from Dj's to venues,to crowd its sad to see that some of u have high expectations like that,i find that so shallow minded....

ok only because i cant stand this ranting and raving, the idea behind going 18+ is for a few reaons:
They need to attract more of a crowd, the idea of crobar being a super club was great. Im 18 but i still got into crobar when there were 21+ events. First night of fundacion i was there...but what people dont seem to realize is the amount of money they dont make. The alcohol sales do not make up for all the comps they give out to fill up the club. This is told to me by people who have worked at crobar every night at the guest lists, bouncers, etc.. Crobar gives more comps out then any other club in the city. They dont have Jonathan Peters like spirit does to fill in their club Instead, crobar gets the world's top djs, and you would figure that it would be more crowded, however, the truth is it doesn't fill up like spirit or avalon, without the massive amount of comps that they give out. Granted, Sasha is a legend, but why was James Holden at spirit instead of crobar? its not because hes a madeevent dj, its because they knew he wouldnt fill up crobar. further, look at WMC, i can garuntee you holden will fill up BED with nathan fake, and sasha will fill up the american airlines arena without a problem, but thats only because more people will go. crobar cannot make the money it does without comps, they are actually under budget (again ive heard this from people who work there). As far as the crowd is concerned, i completely agree with you (and this being 18), there will be more fights (as opposed to the nights that ive been there and nothing has happened), there will be more drugs and more kids acting like fools. I do not like the idea that crobar is turning into an 18+ venue because that means its going down hill quickly. But that just means that another club will open up that will be 21+ again in a few years, and we will have to live with it, yes twilo was the shit, yes old skool exit was the shit, and yes roxy had its great nights, but in the end look at them they were 18+ and did wonderful. its not because they want 18 year olds in crobar, they just need the money.
PS: whoever is sitting in here beefing about someone being 18 years old or over 21, you act as if u are 12 years old, grow the fuck up.
