Hahahah this is my friend Dan, not a t.a... but a cool guy!

I have mixed reviews this time around. Line up was still pretty long when we got there around 12:15, was in line for almost 30 mins. Got into KH and saw the lineups at the bar were too long, so I figured I'd pick some drinks up in the Orange room, on the way to Guv. I stood at an open area at the bar, and the bartender at first totally ignores me and serves other ppl who came after me. Once she finally got around to serving me, i ordered 2 smirnoffs and a corona. She took sooo long to pour the drinks and add up the total, cuz she felt the need to talk to her friends while doing it. Once i paid for the drinks, she left me change. I didnt leave her a tip because she was giving me huge attitude, and was just too slow to deserve one. She notices me taking all my money, and she said DONT COME BACK HERE! And when I asked why, she said cuz I dont tip. Im like, yeah I definitely wouldnt come back anyways cuz ur too slow. I would have thrown my drinks in her face, but I didnt want to be kicked out. That totally started my evening off on the wrong foot, but I decided to put it behind me, because after all, Ferry would cheer me up!

Spent the entire night on the stage in GUV. Once again, WAYY too hot in there!! Even on the stage it was relatively spacious for the most part, and even my legs were sweating! I could only last until 5am, and until that time.. Ferry's set was just OK. Played some good tracks here and there but the rest just seemed like filler. After reading other posts and seeing stuff he played later that night, I regret not sticking it out a lil longer I havent heard Punk in a while, and I know Roger (HIGH ON PSI) wanted to hear Ferry's version of Adagio .

Someone mentioned earlier seeing the guy dancing with the waterbottle on his head.. We saw that too, he also had 2 other waterbottles balancing on his shoulders while he danced at one point! LOL

Overall i would give it an 8/10 .

Anyway, absolutely mindblowing, that's why Ferry is my favourite.
Cheers folks.

Dude, I can't wait till the next event with all of you!!! I hope most of you decide to go to DT on May 22 and not the Guv...and thank you for always asking if I'm okay and shit...your caring personality is much appreciated!!!
What made me dance extra crazy? Connecting with you when Ferry dropped "Till There Was You" you remember that SICK moment?
And re: Ferry being the favorite...I think Ferry has elevated himself from demi-god status and now I totally believe in the Trinity...or should Ferry be even higher than AVB??!?! I think after each event I will always find that DJ to be the best!!! I'm such a SELLOUT!!!! LOL!!!
And that picture you highlighted was the BOMB!!!! We had such an awesome time!!!!

Tatgirl, you were the only TOTA that actually approached me and said my name!!!! That was so cool...nothing makes you feel that sense of belonging more than a veteran like you recognizing a n00b!!!! TAT WAS COOL!!!!

Of course, wherever I am, the fun is great, but could be better.
As I decided on my own important reasons to not goto this event, and because Ferry disappointed me last time he was here... It turns out he would have made me quite happy this tiem around... lots of fancy uplifting tunes.... including the ones I've been dying to hear in a club... dammit why can't I be in 2 places at once!!!!.... or more so.... why didn't I goto guv at 330am when I was downtown instead of taking the ramp onto the gradiner!!!!! GAAAAH!!!!

Thanks to everyone for all the great pics first of all!

As for my night, amazing time had all night long. Arrived at about 1115pm, didn't have much of a lineup for coat check either.
Found a few of my buddy's and headed for the dance floor. I had never seen Luke Chable or Dave Seaman so seeing both was a real treat for me! Lots of energy and a get vibe from everyone in the KH.
Headed over to guv around 2am just to see what the setup and crowd was like before Ferry came on and it was already starting to get nice and full by then. By the time Ferry was up.. you couldn't even move any more, but that was almost to be expected! Ferry played an amazing set as always, definitely better then the last time I saw him at guv.

Good to see you again starsearcher, rj, chanoa and gamma.. and nice to meet some new TA's out there as well!

that is it for this review... I need sleep now!

really good night for sure. stayed in the koolhaus most of the night. lots of room to breathe, not overly hot, and the music was top notch.

- ADDY is always a great opener to the night. he played really good techy house with alot of really fat basslines. i am actually surpised that he banged it out that early. works for me.

- LUKE CHABLE had a very good set. i was expecting a litte more breaks. i guess its kind of hard to play those tunes after the king of CZ played his bangin house. dont really remember any of the tunes he played, busy having fun with friends.

- DAVE SEAMAN one of the prog pioneers, did not disappoint at all. he played the right tunes at the right time. he had really good programming, and his mixing was first rate. 2 hours of seaman was not enough. next time he must play longer!

- GRAYAREA was the highlight of the night for me. i have been a fan for a couple of years and couldn't wait for them to take the stage. i was fuckin shocked to see how hard they rocked it out. there performance was like none other that i have seen. a punk rock attitude + hard and chunky house and breaks = the best live P.A i have seen. JOHN - you would have fuckin loved these guys.

after the grayarea performance, the djs i came to see were done. had a good night, no major problems except for this one drunk guy that was harassing some of the t.a's. some people should learn how to control them selves in public.

easily one of the best nights i have had in the koolhaus.
