I don't want to help turn this thread into an uncalled for debate, but you may like to note that ecstasy, in particular was invented for adults to explore their inner selves. Now you may think that this is twisting the issue, but should we all stop driving because of a number of reckless individuals?

I like to explore my inner self and heve never hurt anyone in doing so. I suspect most things I have done has indirectly hurt an individual in one way or another but I'd be damned if I'm gonna stop buying vegetables.

matter of fact today i just had to let one of my guards go and hes facing criminal charges.

he was caught taking photos in a highschool lockerroom at a school he guards when police questioned him i have the whole statement.

he claims that he had become infatuated with porn and masterbation and then got sick of normal porn and moved on to voyerism and when that wasnt enough then came young girls.

Drugs are the same way they lead to other drugs then to stuff that can possibly kill you.

When ur high you have no proper judgement and ur not in control you may think u are now bu trust me your not.

I laugh at people that use drugs becuase it shows there not creative enough to have a good time without them.

That's a bad comparison.

With the exception of the few reckless drivers that you speak of, driving is perfectly safe. There are speed limits in place, and simple rules that the majority of people follow to stay safe, and that's why the majority of people haven't been mowed down.

But getting rid of the few abusers of drugs who go over-board and OD won't make taking drugs any safer for the rest of us.

driving is not perfectly safe dude.....
and not all accidents happen cause of reckless drivers.... they are accidents they could happen to anyone
my grandma has been in an accident and she follows all the rules... it was her fault too due to rain

This is true, sometimes there are circumstances (such as rain and ice etc) that can easily cause accidents through no fault of the driver. But then again, if the weather is likely to be the cause of an accident, people shouldn't be driving at all.

I know it's a bit much to ask, but if everyone stuck to the rules and used a bit more common sense, we could avoid 99.9 percent of accidents.

i know mine hasnt.. but iv been in like 10 wrecks.... i dont count the 2 i caused or 3

point im trying to make is.... ur life is probably not affected by it... hell i know half of the poeple that dont do drugs that i know are always getting in shit.... poeple i know that do drugs.. hell nothing wrong with them

Yeah I may have made my point badly, but I wasn't (suppoosed to be) saying that we should rid of the bad drug users, but that Signal2005 could try to understand that drugs have helped some of us in the short term, despite the overall long term effects.

Hehe.

I've never been physically injured by someone on drugs, but I have seen some friendships slide quite considerably because of drug use. I've also seen it affect close family members quite recently too, and they certainly aren't what you would call "abusers", but the effects were still noticeable.

Yeah I guess different people have different ways of dealing with their problems, but I just don't think that drugs do anyone any favours. They might not worry about the effects it has on themselves, but it will affect the people close to them, and like I just said, I say that from personal experience.

i been there

I have a sister whos husband started on coke after having there first child he would awake in the night and be paranoid pushing couches in front of doors.

And locking windows he would spend alotta time in the bathroom my sister didnt know why till she found the coke down the basement and flushed it he came home and put a knife to her throat.

whats weird is he was such a great guy before his drug use a good dad etc.

now hes still messed up preety bad u cant talk to him anymore.

i guess hes still pissed at me for breaking his nose but luckily i got off the charge when the cops came and realized he was a coke head he was arrested for attempted murder assualt with a deadly weapon etc.

I have seen what drugs can do to family as well like i said i been there.

And dont you think its stupid to take drugs and rub yourself becuase it feels good lmao.

i tried shrooms for the first time but i don't know if they really did anything...i barely had any and i was pretty drunk when i ate them.

Limited experience, as I may have:

MDMA is the only way. Short trip, intense peak, loving the world you're in. How can anyone seriously contend the non-addictive, ego-satifying, life-supporting high that this brings? I love every person around me, and every aspect of the game I bring to the group at the time.

I am seriously afraid of thinking any other high is better.

Reading through this thread in the last 30 minutes has been a lot like drugs for me, a lot of pointless bullshit, some hilarious banter, and I'm definitely not any smarter for having gone through it...

But in any event....

Mine would probably be Marijuana, because I can function on it...

Don't get me wrong, I like to sample all sorts of exotic cuisine but if I wanted to have any kind of legitimate life, I couldn't be rolling balls every day...

To the people doing pharms: Watch yourselves with anything containing acetaminophin... rough on the stomach... Synthetic Opiates are fun though Also, you'd probably like Xanax and Valium, as well as other members of the nitraezepam family (They were my favorite, and overdose is very unlikely... Take a a bunch, rock the shades, and forget a night some time... )

To the kids who like Meth: Careful with that stuff... I've seen that shit ruin more lives than all other drugs combined (In personal experience...) - No Lectures, just watch yourself...

And I'd personally advise against trying Heroin... I've never done it, so I can't speak from personal experience, but it can ruin people, and most of you know that already...

For the record: Finishing my BA in Psychology and Sociology (Double Major) this year, heading to Grad School for Psychoactive Pharmacology... not that I'm some sweet kid or anything, but I'm also not just sitting here talking out of my ass...

before, i would say weed and e, but nowadays i can't say i have a favorite drug anymore. weed gives me anxiety, psychedelics make me feel goofy the next day, opiates make me kinda sick... i guess the only drugs i can thoroughly enjoy without feeling shitty the next day are benzos and alcohol.

I've always felt that there is a right drug for every occasion. Subsequently, picking only one is rather difficult. If forced I suppose I would have to choose E because it is the most versitial. Other then going to the dentist E enhances nearly any experience. E is the bacon and cheese of drugs... everything is better if you add bacon and cheese!

I did E once in my life, and weed on rare occassions. Ive never been tempted to do any of it. If anything Id say booze is my choice.
