yeah, i hearya on that..... theyre trying to get an allstar quintessential NYC DJ lineup (sept Chemical Brothers) without putting any new and unseen talent out there for us to enjoy.... not cool.... but ill still go, its not like the DJs are bad, its just that weve all seen them b4.... i want Marco V playin an outdoor festival set in NYC (as opposed to the less agressive club sets he plays), now THATS where its at!

well to me, spinnin @ Central Park is more of an experience and a journey, its a totally different vibe then in a club, DJ's are gonna play totally different sets

well lets just wait to see how ticket prices are...that'll prolly determine if i decide to go or not...oakie was actually ok at ultra but that won't sway me, i need to see more names

Disgusting is a good way of course!!! That would be so insane if they got Marco V.....ever see the video for "Automanual"....flimed at DanceValley last year.....FUCKING NUTS!!!

hmm Marco V wouldn't be a bad start to top off the TBA...ive never seen him live but i like some of his sets. Johan would be fukin siiick if they got him. but somehow i doubt it 6 hrs isnt enough time for this...and its not worth it if there is only one or two djs i like who is gonna be spinning

I dunno, I havent planned for it but I may. Everything will be fine as long as I dont arrive at home at 8 in the morning and have my hubby sitting on the couch with his arms folded giving me the evil eye.

another word from the grapevine says there will be other dance areas, not sure how they would do that, but like i said, its just a rumor, could be wrong.... it DOES give us hope though, as far as the size of the lineup's concerned

yeah maybe rumsey playfield will be the mainstage... and as most of us know there is a big area on the left side of rumsey playfield that could easily be another stage, that would make two. But that's about all the room they have unless it goes to the great lawn, which it wont so i dunno

There is no Line-up, sounds like something to play with everyone heads. I dont think it is gonna happen. the hours of this event are so LAME. It should goto to Midnight at least and should be on a saturday. It would be much better. I am from NY and live in San Diego now and know i wouldnt travel to goto a party that ends at 10pm. LAME LAME LAME !!!!

I agree on all points...well CP has this thing where everything has to be shut down at 10pm (i guess its related to noise or something like that...although its in Central Park so I dont think noise would travel that far outta the Park ) It should be on a Saturday -- iono why its NOT...

ppl mentioned Randalls Island and Flushing Meadow as better places to hold this event, and i totally agree. If Ultra NYC had been held in Flushing, I could totally imagine them setting the tents up similar to that of Bayfront's setup. oh well, so much for NYC's first Ultra -- u would have thought the organizers would have TRIED to make it JUST AS GOOD in our city...
