just got to Melb from Perth.

Had a fantastic night!! Loving the Melbourne crowd.

Wished I could have met some local TAs.

Ronski was superb!! Massive tunes. Almost died when he dropped Air For Life.

I wanna dance again tonight. Any suggestions?!

lol are you serious? all of us were all over the joint last night!!

Posted by lady_apatheia on Jul-16-2005 06:59:

well if only I had any clue who you TAs were!!

shame.

someone suggest me a place to go tonight! i wanna dance, preferably trance.

Posted by tachyon on Jul-16-2005 07:06:

nothing remotely decent for trance will happen tonight i'm afraid..

if you like handbags:
- volume @ room 680
- err that house night at platform one, banana alley flinders st
- onelove at prince
- 161

i wouldn't suggest going to zos for interstaters but...

EDIT: if you're into tek, mike humphries and ignition technician are in town, its at brown alley and cost about $30.

because i dont want to give the impression that most of us melbournites doesn't have a fucking clue what good music is.

trust me you better off listening (and dancing) to handbag, that's still can be forgiven!

Handbag: a flavour of house (as in Handbag), usually pop song in structure, with lyrics or predominant vocals. Often mis-identified by mainstreamers as 'techno' or the even more laughable 'electronica'. Name taken for the hoochies attending raves, wearing all black club wear and carrying handbags.

Posted by lady_apatheia on Jul-16-2005 09:39:

lol alrighty

Build up was great! Ronski was great (once he finally kicked up a notch at least). Crowd/vibe was really impressive right till the end - hat's off guys.

Dammit, Ronski can come back anytime he likes! Atmosphere was awesome all night, and not a bad crowd for the old 'tude!
