No, I'm one of the people who actually supports the artists, and has spent every penny he's ever had in his life on doing so. For the past 15 years I've been doing this, and I'll carry on doing it for the rest of my life. That makes me entitled to an opinion, and after doing a lot of online work too for labels & artists, it's shown me many things, the first of it being that this industry has gone tits up. There are people like John 00 Fleming, Mark EG & Many others who have done so much for music for upto 20 years in some cases, and you know what? They're great people, they are polite, courteous & by extending that courtesy, they get it back. Then we have those people who're newer, take yourself, santiago nino, dave dresden as examples. You've not contributed anywhere near as much as those people yet you put it upon yourself to be a complete & utter fucktard to the people who make you what you are, simply because they don't agree with something you do. You have no right to come on this site & attack someone like Haak who has supported artists for a long time & released many good productions, also being competent as a DJ just because the 'thing' you make is the latest cool thing. People like you are a cancer on the industry and completely & utterly worthless. You love taking the praise but you can't take anything that isn't that. I really hope you crash & burn and end up back in the supermarket, mopping those floors like the scum you really are. Take a leaf out of the book of people like joof, miika kuisma, shokk/flutlicht, dumonde, plastic angel, ralphie b, signum, rank 1 and all those others who've participated here with no sense of being better, and helped us learn, educated us & shared experiences with us. I'd take that type of person over you anyday.

Take a deep breath

If you want to waste your time trying to impress people on the net go ahead, its your life

Maybe i said a couple of harsh things to Haak, but the guy suggested that I make tracks solely for the money, wich is pretty damn offensive to me as I take great pride in what I do for a living.

If you are gonna talk shit, be ready when someone talks back.

You people say I have ego, ok

Im just a really confident person and always have been, not cus my tracks are big or im playing at big events, just because thats the way I am.

Some of you really need to grow up

Cheers, Steve

And some people need to take their own advice...

Posted by nchs09 on Dec-11-2005 20:59:

this thread has gone way beyond discussion of a new release.. in my opinion is not going anywhere productive. this is the time mods should do the right thing and close it.

to be honest man, I respect the fact that you've had the balls to give a more 'normal' response, and while I disagree with your points of view, fairplay to you for doing it.

Yeah +1 t that.

I dont want to take sides here, but I dont always think this attitude is the reult of fame or success, some people are very pridefull, and dont take shit from anybody, regardless of whether it is due or not.

The difference is Dave Dresden assumed he could talk down on anyone and always had the right answer just because his name was tagged on the end of alot of big productions.

According to the November MixMag (p. 37):

Most expensive pair of Nike "Trainers" (Such a vague name for a shoe) was $85 American...

You must buy a lot of shoes...

Please don't tell me you really went that far out of your way and looked up some obscure Mixmag quote ...

Ok, here's the deal...

Myra and I are "recovering" from G&D today, sitting here, watching TV, when I see this copy of MixMag I got to read on the way home from New York for Thanksgiving, Angello is on the cover... Myra sees this, and proceeds to say "Wait! I need to show you something." Turns to Angello's page in the "I'm a huge DJ, these are the clubs I like to play" article that we've all read a hundred times before, and it says what Angello is wearing...

And God only knows why I decided to type out the details of that posts origins...

Edit: Oh yeah, to defend myself against the TA's...

hey haak-- steve's worst filler track kicks the shit out of your best track and your sets, well we won't even go there because everyone knows u couldn't even mix a drink!
