if they wont let you in because you're not dressed right, i highly doubt they would be lenient with the 25+.

Posted by slingshot on Jan-16-2006 21:05:

i've never had a problem getting in there before tho....the 25+ thing acts as sort of a filter....go there looking stylish and cross your fingers and hopefully get in.....going with older ppl doesn't hurt either...

All I can say is, if this 25+ BULLSHIT prevents me from seeing some of my favourite DJs, I'm going to be really pissed off. This is the biggest load of crap I have ever seen. I have been supporting this scene, and especially the old System crew since I have started partying (4 years ago!). I don't like being told that I'm not old enough to attend a party when I'm over legal age. I sincerely hope I don't get told to go home at the door.

Good luck having success with this night if you're going keep with this 25+ rule. A lot of younger people are getting into the scene these days, and if you're cutting off that part of the market, you're shooting yourself in the foot.

Would this dress code be the same as what they have at the Gallery? Or are hats right out? Just curious.

Its the Grand Opening, its a celebration - enjoy yourself be comfortable.. but .. pretend someone you respected was there - lol DEEP DISH!

ABSOLUTELY NO GLOW STICKS!!

Posted by Matt on Jan-16-2006 22:32:

25+?!?!?!?! LOL

I wasn't planning to attend, but that's bloody ridiculous.

Posted by Ace_of_Spades on Jan-16-2006 23:03:

well i really don think it's gonna be 25+ cause it'll be totally stupid.

and too bad there's no glow sticks allowed( as i anticipated Before)

More on 25+

Did anyone else notice, that during System's last days, the crowd started getting younger and younger? I certainly did. It doesn't make any sense to me to close System and then open TiL with the restriction of 25+. The dress code was one thing, but now with this age restriction... I really don't know what you guys are trying to do with this club.

Posted by DigitalMP on Jan-17-2006 04:45:

If you're not 25, I suggest you go in wedding gear. They'll be setting the tone for weeks to come on a night like this.

TIL will have no problem at all filling the club, with or without everyone who is thinking they'll be lenient.

Posted by nadezhda on Jan-17-2006 15:54:

heh...for tommy lee it says dress code is "uptight". just how is that different than for fridays? lol

and what the hell is a "stuffie"? now that i'm old enough to get into these 25+ clubs i am not down with the lingo the kids are using these days.

Posted by StereoPrincess on Jan-17-2006 16:45:

ok, so which people can't get in because of the age thing?

is it only graham that wants to but thinks he can't?

Posted by iLiptikalOrbitZ on Jan-17-2006 17:22:

Well, I know a TON of people who were planing to go, not only for Deep Dish, but also for Kelly's birthday party, but now that it's 25+ only a couple are able to go. I can understand if they want a more mature crowd, but IMHO it should be 21+ not 25. That at least is reasonable. Common TIL, help us out here.

im not 25 *yet* thankfully haha

and neither are most of my friends that will be going that night! i dont forsee us having any problems getting in either! meh ...

im thinking that this dress code / age limit thing is all bs anyways and they wont enforce it too much!

Posted by Ace_of_Spades on Jan-17-2006 19:52:

I really don't think that they'll enforce the age restrictions.
the things is if they make it 25+ i believe more than half of the club would be empty and they wanna make money any how.

i think it's just a filter so they choose who'll go in.
but it sucks anyways cause even though i am on guest list i am not sure i'll get in.

Posted by slingshot on Jan-17-2006 20:07:

this is london picks and chooses who they let in on normal club nites regardless of age....i think this will be a bit similar to their normal nites just toned down a little...it's a classy venue and they want a classy crowd...as wrong as that is for our edm scene...i guess that's the way it's just going to have to be....to see our fav. dj's where going to have to bite the bullet and go out lookin like a million bucks....or bribe the fuck out of the bouncers...oh well. i'm going to do what it takes to get my ass in their for 8 hours of le dish!

ps. margs, i'm only 21

doubt it.

but this will definitely be a dress up thing for sure. which is lame.

Ryan, I know that you are 21 but you don't seem to be concerned too much about the age thing. You believe you will get in.

I think we should go really early to get in before the masses.

I am willing to check out the situation for everyone and go early to see what the door policy is and text out of the club.
