Lame decision by the referee's, Holmstr�m gets a penalty because of diving

..Per Johan Axelsson goes on a breakaway and comes 1-on-1 against Rick Di Pietro, Di Pietro manages to save the goal and USA continues their play 5 on 3 for a couple of seconds before Ronny Sundin comes on.
Kenny J�nsson saves a open goal. Really good defending by Sweden, although USA should've scored.
One of the dumbest rules in the tournament, Doug Weight shots away the puck when he is playing without the helmet, He gets 2 minutes. Hilariously bad!
It's pretty even right now and both teams are struggeling to get rid of their penaltys. Bad powerplay by Sweden, although they started out pretty well and it all ended up crappy.
Another fucking lame penalty on Sweden, and another 5 on 3 for USA.

Sweden is playing amazingly good in Box-play even though USA had a lame 5 on 3 powerplay.
Lundqvist is playing stunning.

It is frustrating seeing USA being unable to score.
They'll probably squeak by into the quarters though, by virtue of goal differential over Latvia
Slovakia beats Kazakhstan, 2-1, to clinch first place in Group A
They'll most likely face the Czech Republic in the quarters, but the Czechs have to deal with Italy (easy) and Canada (not so easy)

damn... USA seems to play well or enough to equal their competitors, then they can't finish the game...

No clue. But I don't think they'll be out because Latvia and Kazakhstan can't do anything.
If Latvia wins the next game and USA loosees (which can happen against Russia) they both have 3 points.
Because there was no winner in the match between them the goal difference will determine who advances to the next round.
USA has 9-8 and Latvia 9-25 .
So for exampl if USA looses 0-5 to Russia Latvia has to win 20-0
wow, a melee between Italy and Czechs
should be interesting to see what penalties are given out
Has Marty Brodeur started in net yet???
I've only seen two Canada games and Luongo in net both times...
