Maybe there'll hafta be a learning curve for dealing w/ Guv for you? Hopefully thats not your very last time there

I've avoided Guv for 4 years, and now I remember why. The heat and overpacking last night was an atrocity (and I know Mandy agrees with me here)

When Mikey and I left at 3:30, they were still just waving people in, like cows to the slaughter.

OH NIKKI! It was so good seeing you again! I miss you babe!! Yea, I had just re met up w/ Joshy FROTN AND CENTER when born slippy was coming on! FUCKING SOLID! I KNEW he'd play this track... johan just loves the fuck out of it! So do it! He didnt let me down there.

Nice hangin out w/all the TA's, esp the ones who havent been out in a while.

Unfortunately I have to agree w/ Nats. Was telling her the same thing.. his intro was not up to its usual par... Johan normally just fucking BANGS out a crazy track when he starts and IMMEDIATELY you are energized adn thinking HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But he did pick it up later. Ending w/ Mr. Brightside... OH YEA! LOVED IT. I fucking LOVED Johan's set.... though there have been ones I like alot better from that man.

Nevertheless, MY GOD did I ever have a good time. THanks guys who came out and shared in this experience w/ me. I truly had the time of my life at GUvernmente. THIS is whuat partying there is supposed to be like.

The overcrowdness didnt bother me that much (never really does though)... so long as Im surround by all you pretty tota chicks! and the heat... well, damn, I JUST LOVEd THAT! It can usually never be too hot for me! :

OKAY, just woke up from my sleep... and thinking im gonna pass out again before work tomrrow... ugh........... CHEERS GUYS...

My life is complete.

You know, I believe it was the biggest TA turnout for a regular night at the Guv. TAs pwn3d the stage. The dance-offs... WHOA... can't touch this. I wish I cought it on video, though I will next time.

Props to Nikki, Sasha, Danielle, Lisa, Nada, Spitty, Andrea, KKEFKA, Vertigo and too many to name! I was very impressed with the chemistry shared amongst TAs.

Great party. I got in just before 2, had to wait for a friend, and by the time i got on the floor Gielen started tearing the place up.
I only got to meet one TA(guy in the middle):


After that I was too busy dancing(or at least trying to dance )
I was disapointed when gielen left the stage, he slowed it down too much and i was still pumped, but goldfinger did a good job afterwards

i met kelly :O
and i also saw nada doing those crazy moves up on the stage but when i got there she was gone :/

Well I think it's time to finally do a review.

- Deep Groove was excellent however I felt there set was not a good opener.
- Johan played some great tracks and even though there was some problems early on he still killed it.
- It was hot...very hot and packed....I don't mind it being packed as I have come to accept that as part of the Guv. It should not be that hot in the club though
- Sasha...I agree there was a lot of really messed up people there. I am no angel by any means but when that one guy was being wheelchaired out of the club I pretty much thought it was time to leave.

Met some new faces which is always great...heck even met faces I met before but can't remember....and to be honest I don't remeber them already if you are reading this then you know who you are

Tyler, Cam, Max, Sasha always a pleasure to see yas on the dance floor.

Nada and Andrea I knew you were there but I never got a chance to see you work your magic on the floor - Ultra Spin 9 for sure though

Jamie nice to finally meet you.

Everyone else....I know there is a lot of you.....it was awesome....TAs make it a party....without you it would just be bouncing around with a bunch of sweaty people.

met LOTS of TA's - super cool peeps like: Playa24_7 (Dan?), tatgirl, DJ Amps (Barry), Lisa Loo, Sasha, Cribby... many others, but my memory fails me!

People are complaining about it being packed, but i thought it wasnt that bad, its certainly been worse - what i found bad, was the heat, sweating bullets in there.

I wasnt impressed by deep groove too much, and to be honest i wasnt blown away by gielen either, except for SALTWATER and SUMMER DREAM, and some others i suggest.

all in all a 5.5-6.00/10

left when gielen got off the decks

agreed. also Heidi thank you for being an uber-fan.. our plan had been to enter through the drink, but by the time Kel and I got there the drinks lineup was looong and we couldn't wait. I had happened to see you mention deepgroove was opening the guv so we just entered through the guv, and I'm positive that choice led to everything working out for the evening.. you rock!

everybody would open conversations with "wtf are you doing at a trance party" to which i always replied "d00d, you realize we're listening to house until 2, at which point i can go to gallery"

now gallery was HOT. Carns & I headed in - music was KIILLLER. I literally knew every tune, but the only one I can pull from my hazy drunken memory is buy now - for sale.. we danced so hard we had to leave 45 minutes later..

and my other complaint, my largest one, is that the music wasnt loud enough - did any one else notice this?

usually i NEED earplugs, but this time i could talk freely and no ear ringing afterwards - not cool - i like it LOUD.
