Here's my review Not that i do these anymore because it seems like every review thread in all forums is about nit - picking, glorifying, or bashing.
I have seen Paul better and I have seen him worse. My only complaint about the set was that he played crush twice. Not that I read all of the reviews but of the few I did, there seems to be many complaints about the set being up and down. It sucks that you feel that way. I expected the set to have a more consistent flow, but I was not upset that it didn't. PvD touched on many different styles of music from trance to minimal breaks to electro house. The meer fact that someone who is famous for being a "trance dj" had the balls to experiment and branch out to other generes of EDM at SPACE for WMC is a pretty notable thing and he should be commended for it. Tiesto, Armin or any of the other Big Name Trance DJ's NEVER do anything close to that. It's not like his whole set consisted of the slower paced music. he banged it out in the beginning, slowed it down by injecting different styles of EDM that we usually don't listen with a PVD twist to them, and then completely banged it out for almost the last 2 hours with the build ups and hard bassline drops that helped make him who he is today. The music is constantly evolving and PVD has always been a pioneer of bringing music into a different direction. just my opinion.

Hell yea Agreed on all counts my friend. I was not at space but I did see him at Roseland and, he did the same thing in NY that he did at space Banged it out for 3 hours first thing then slowed it down then came back again, a very up and down set but still amazing. Good call

| Originally posted by ClubGoddess I didnt even try to take any pics while up there, they kicked out some guy for taking a pic of Paul. I loved the beginning of the set the most, I have no idea what the ID was a few track in but I just remember looking at Thomas and DA and all of us were like wow. Great night. |
Packed house.

I just found out that PVD dropped Giuseppe Ottaviani & Marc van Linden - Until Monday. I REMEMBER hearing that song, but didn't know what it was. HELL. I may not have heard PVD's re-edit of I Feel You, but experiencing Until Monday more than made up for it.
