I've privately wondered before when you would come to this opinion...

Interesting.

...and here i thought you were one of the cool people

House can be alright, but as long as it's not too repetitve and it loses those cheesy singing vocals (not a fan of vocals).

Trance... depends what we're talking about here. I use to like that dutch sound, now it just sounds like everyone is making the same shit and the whole genre is going absolutely nowhere.... each year it sounds like it's turning into euro dance. If it gets radio play on Z103 then it's because it's not Trancy enough!!!
Now Psy and Goa I love, but in that genre you have to really dig to find good artists because it is a very inconsistant genre.

Speaking of inconsistant psy/goa... IM is shit and haven't made anything good in years and Yahel was the shit in like 2001, but now he is shit for the most part.

try some Wizzy noise,Astrix,blue planet corporation,cosma B, Ticon,Penta and finally J00F

Yeah Wizzy Noise is amazing, but their newer stuff is getting kind of repetative. They're my fav, but getting too much into that bassy sound. Jaja, Vibrasphere, and Zen Mechanics are pretty good too.

now GOOOOD TRANCE = THE DIGITAL BLONDE!!!! (first album out in 2 weeks)

Every EDM genre has its pros and cons... depends what your taste is.

I cant agree more,Yahel doesnt do it for me anymore. He is getting more into the mainstream side (more money) which is sad because I used to think of him as a descent producer.

and I cant stand Infected mushrroms at all with those cheesy guitar riffs that they use all the time.

when it comes to psy it is honestly hard to find what you like, and there is alot of psy Dj/producers out there.Iam still in the digging process of finding my cup of tea.

Speaking of the dark stuff,I got this mixed compilition a few months back and it was from a label from Russia I believe, it was truly mind blowing.I'll try to get the name for ya.

both have their goods and bads.

although house is definately more fruity and full of pop music

I like what I like... and it changes all the time... breaks, house, techno, trance...

Without trance...which envelopes many people into the EDM scene, the scene would not be as it is today... who knows how it would be...

I loved trance... I still don't see a reason to hate it or put others down who enjoy it... I just don't listen to it all that much anymore...

I am now converted to listening to almost 100% house music though... And my reasoning for that... I like to dance to it!! And I like to continuously dance to it... there is usually more than one plateau in each track and they come quick and smooth... I like that!!

Re; psytrance

I'm really digging stuff from Cosma and Vatos Loco right now.

Takes a lot to be creative in psy IMO. A lot of stuff is too repetitive.

COSMA rocks!!!!

you are right some of the stuff can be repetitive, thats why you have to dig alot to find good psy.
