can jOOf be classified as pure trance ?

PVD for me

Wait for it.........................................................................................It has to be Armin !!

PvD, Ferry and Nick Warren for trance.

Armin consistently just misses out on being great and playes a lot of good tunes, but not a lot of great stuff. Plus his mixing is a tad dull.

Tiesto is playing more house than trance and still isn't doing anything that refreshing.

PvD is playing a great range of trance, really energetic electroish house and techno (just check out his Mayday 2006 set).

Ferry is being fairly innovative with his LEF stuff.

Nick Warren is still playing massively smooth prog trance.

SvD has been on the rise for a while now and is on the cusp of really making it.PvD Ferry Nick Warren

To the OP:

Playing tracks no one else is playing?

I think you mistake "great range" for RANDOM. That Mayday set was god awful. Going from tech house to hard techno into a melodic tune. Had no flow to it at all except the over powering PVD kick. Imo hes lost the momentum he had midway through last year when he was playing nothing but pounding trance. Hes tried to be all "cool" again and his sets just sound naff for it

KarateKid

I'm going to say Greg Downey.

The kid has been on fire as far as productions go and his sets are mint.

Can't wait to see him at my clubnight next month!
