Congrats! Here are your 100 America-bashing points. You teh w1nn3h!

Dude, Cloud was referring to your location text.. not to the fact that you live in the USA.

While I agree that 'America-bashing' is pathetic, your immature response was well out of order.

excellent answer mr. mature.

Look, get off my back - ok? Put me on ignore if you don't like what I have to say. Last I checked this was a "dicussion forum" - feel free to discuss or disagree with my point but accept the fact that I have the same entitlement to disagree with yours. Mature enough?

Point well taken. Let's get on with discussion of the game, not particulars of each other. I thought the focus of this discussion was football, no?

Move on, you poked at me, I poked at you - back on topic, ok?

Fine with me.

Maybe the mod would be so nice to remove all these useless posts from this thread?

Just because this is a discussion forum doesn't mean you can say 2+2=22... this is football and whether you like it or not, it is a sport governed by rules, rules which we (us the true football fans) are very aware of and obviously know, allowing us to give somehow a more accurate observation, unlike you so it seems.

Nobody is bashing the americans for not knowing certain things, but if you aren't sure or if you don't know, instead of saying the stupid typical "the ref sucked in the usa vs italy game", why don't you ask about the rules? Us the mature people will gladly help.

great response (seriously). Though, I have a feeling this will be a trivial discussion until FIFA has an official look-see into officiating yesterday during Italy vs US game. Besides, the ref had some "irregularities" noted in his career few years ago.

So, how's that - let's put this discussion on back burner until more facts are available. I agree with your point about dangerous play but there were many more "risky" moves in other games and officiating in this particular game was not uniform. The ref himself became more lenient in the second half (almost scared of (alegedly) goofy calls he made in the first half).

For now, agree to disagree?

how fucking pathetic.

that kid from Ghana just after the Pirlo's goal. Absolutly perfect owned face.

Posted by CranberryJuice on Jun-18-2006 21:25:

french commentators seeing barthez raising his hand

"barthez is asking for medical assistance!!! we'll have to check him out to see if he's ok"

few seconds later ....

"no barthez was actually asking for water"

LAME

"We can barely sleep because of the croaking. We are going to hunt them."

- Ukraine defender Vladislav Vashchuk has a novel excuse for the 4-0 hammering by Spain - mating frogs near the team hotel keeping the squad awake.
