I can't wait to see what happens when they actually meet a decent side which will painfully expose their lack of defensive qualities

The German press is known to be as stable as an ADHD kid in a rollercoaster.

Should they get kicked out of the tournament by Sweden, those exact same journalists will chop his head off directly, indeed.

byebye Sweden

really dissapointed, I thought they could make it pretty far, especially with the playermaterial they have on their squad. But they really played bad from match one. According to me it's all Lagerbeck's fault ...

someone tell the president of sweden to call larsen, and tell his tired old ass to fuck off.

i was really disapointed w/how sweden rolled over in this game. especially when larsen kiced that ball back to sweden intead of the net. ggggrrrrrr....

You're right that Sweden couldn't really depend the entire competition on Larsson if they wanted to go far. But we're talking about a player who just decided a Champions League final this season. He's old but still a great player who could be very useful to them. And I'm sure he'll retire from the national team now.

Missing an important penalty is something that happened to players like Platini, Roberto Baggio, or more recently Beckham and Riquelme. All are greats or remembered as greats, and I think Larsson is a part of this group.
