The ONLY reason any England fans booed Hargreaves is because Sven insisted on bringing him on every 60minutes to a game which did not need a defensive midfielder and we never saw what he was capable of. People raved on how good is he for Bayern and the only ever time you saw him in an England shirt is coming on at 60minutes and doing fuck all.

4/5 years of that and its not hard to see why people were getting pissed. It was Sven's fault. Hargreaves finally had the chance to show us hes actually a pretty mint player. Had he been given the chance years ago none of it would have happened. The booing was more likely aimed at the general "here we go again, 60mins and Hargreaves comes on decision."

then why did the english fans boo him in there last game before going over to germany?.and it was only a friendly match.

What has anyone said thats racist u absolute muppet, actually read the thread before posting such crap. Theres been a lot of bitter anti-english rant on here and some calling of nations football teams crap but i dont see what that has to do with personally insulting countries or racism. A post of such pure muppetry almost doesnt deserve a response so i'm not quite sure why i bothered.

I don't know how u've managed to derive that. Our media were convinced we couldnt win from the day Rooney got injured and then were never positive again. Then take all the anti-sven articles and insults of his tactics and yeh i can see what u mean, our media were convinced we would win it . People believed we could win it this time, but nobody really believed we would because better teams like Brazil and Argentina were there as well as a lot of other good teams. read the first page. one of your own englsih compatriots said that he didnt think it was ronaldo's fault. in fact he was the the first one to point out that it wasnt ronaldo's fault..so i honestly dont know where you are getting this idea that this thread is not about englands loss, and that it is someone other than an englishman who brought this element into this thread...it is so very clearly implied.

Sorry mate but that point isnt worth crap our fans had one of the lowest arrest rates. Also u'll find apart from one night of trouble caused by a few hundred people, hundreds of thousands possibly millions of our fans by the end who visited Germany behaved brilliantly. A case of a few spoiling it for the many and people taking advantage. Even Fifa and German officials have praised the behaviour of our fans, if we'd done so much damage to Germany we wouldnt have got voted best fans and we wouldnt have been getting praise from German officials thats for sure.

Calling Ronaldo a cheat is true and saying he was wrong to go to the ref and calling him names is fair game because what he did was wrong. No one says he was to blame for the loss, infact everyone knows and admitted it wasnt his fault, just that he's a pratt. How the fuck is this racist? That comment is FACT. That piece of information was printed on www.bbc.co.uk/football when it said England fans were voting for the #2 player to make Ronaldo lose. Under that, it said "a recent campaign has been launched in Scotland to get people to vote for Ronaldo to try and lessen the damage being done by the English".

coup the point is not all scottish people were wanting england to lose or voting for ronaldo to win it, now if you had said a minority then fine as i accept that some people were but the fact is the way these things are portrayed is that it was every non english person in britain

No one on this thread is actually anti-irish or anti-scottish, some of us just think ur football teams are crap and u've said things to the same affect about England. Can i call u a racist now then? What Sy said was about scottish and irish fans just going against England fans no matter what is true. Scotland fans bought Trinidad and Tobago shirts to support them in the WC just to be anti-england. To me thats a lot more racist than anything i've seen on here, just hate us because we're English. I don't hate people because of their nationality and neither do Sy or Coup. Those comments are not personal to a nation they are purely football based. How u've taken offence to them after some of the crap people have wrote about England is beyond me.

gibbo i know sy and coup well enough to partially agree there but these comments are out of order they are bugger all to do with the scottish team, not one part refers to the scottish national team, it refers to the scottish people
