Armin's site hasn't listed any dates after September, don't know if you've been there a bunch but Cali (specifically San Fran) is a nice place to hang out.

hell yeah its awesome...well actually ive only been there once last Sept but that was enough to convince me...there is NOTHING like standing right on the "beach" on the edge of the Wharf, or on the edge of that PARK with the statues/sculptures (i forget the name) and seeing the towering Golden Gate in SF...

actually i wouldnt even CARE about clubbing there, i just wanna go see the sights, take it all in. i would have gone to LoveFest this year (SF's answer to the Love Parade at the end of Sept) but I <3 hawaii more.

i've never gone clubbing in san fran because i was on some family trip or under the age of 21 but i've always had nice trips. tons of stuff to do without going near a club. anyhow, never been to hawaii but i can dream

Without a doubt, and it's all across Europe not just a few cities. Free/cheap shuttles to parties in remote areas, camping sites, plenty of reasonably priced food and drinks, numerous bathroom facilities, insane setups and visuals, etc...

Hip hop in the main room on weekends is only for the summer as far as we know... It should be back to normal when Armin returns.

No I think that its a good idea because a lot of the regulars there will probably stay home or go somewhere else for that night. Hopefully!!!!!

Which regulars are you talking about? The people that you would want to stay at home are the ones who don't even care as much that hip hop is playing. I mean, do you really think that the guidos that frequent Crobar on Saturday nights really are that turned off by hip hop?

I'm referring to those who go to that club every Friday.

Oh, you mean the TAs.

Second, Armin isn't playing on a Friday, so this is a non-issue with the hip hop.

Okay, every Saturday. And I'm talking about those who go every Saturday for the hip hop or whatever. If they see their night is taken for a Trance dj I'd think they wouldnt go.

You obviously haven't been to Crobar since this started, so I really don't understand why you're commenting, as you seem to not understand the format.

Saturday does not have hip hop in the main room, at all. It's mostly house by the DJs that tend to attract the B&T people (Boris, Calderone, Waxman, etc.) Friday, it's from 11-2 in the main room, followed by whatever EDM DJs are playing that night. This week, it's Astro and Glyde. If anyone's going out for hip hop, they then have to go into the Reed Room, which has always had hip hop after the Flawless DJs are done at 1 am. There is no "Hip Hop" night at Crobar now, therefore no regulars who go for hip hop that you want to stay home. There used to be one on Thursdays that started after work, but they stopped that after the shooting a few weeks ago.

Friday October 6th Lawler is at Crobar so I am praying this trend ends after the summer

Whatever you say man. I'm not gonna sit here and argue with you about something so stupid, I just stated a thought on something.

+1

I'm glad their lineup this month sucks so I don't have to put up with it. Hopefully it will change back in the fall once the normal DJs that they get return from their summer destinations.

he will...when would he start? Or will he play from the beginning.
11-5am--this makes more sense since FUR doesn't really stay open after 5 or 5:30am for big djs.
12-6am?

Heh, thats interesting. I'd prefer a House dj or something slower to open hit set up.
