Thanks for the sets jeerpa!

I agree with djash about the August 1st set for a few reasons:
- Tracks are nowhere near M.I.K.E.'s style then (or now);
- No mixing, all the tracks seem to be radio edits;
- There's no "Progressive Radio" jingle during the set;
- It seems as though PN aired from 10-12 CET ("M.I.K.E. is taking you to midnight"), during the set there's a "CET 6pm" announcment.

However I do think that the last three tracks are from PN, as they fit M.I.K.E.'s style and there's a PN jingle during the last bit. You can hear the mix abruptly go from G-Spott - NRG to Das Glockenspiel. So either the ripper or C-Dance messed up. Also, the last set contains a couple of tracks outside PN (Flight 643 & something else) so I omitted them.

Anyway, tracklists!

Good stuff from virtual24, your tracklists were a great starting point. But I made a few adjustments here and there to them (mostly the order of tracks). There were a lot of tracks said during the show by Mike that I couldn't find in the set (Nerva - The Scorpion, F2/Chris Cowie - Dominica, Innate - Changes etc), perhaps he called out the wrong track or something.

Yeah thanks Chittle,

I was not sure how accurate my tracklists were becouse the way M.I.K.E. talks he tells you the track he has just played and then counts back 2 or 3 but he dose not tell you them all. But nearlly all tracks he plays are from 2001.

Dose any one know off the history of this show? how many shows did he do?

Dutchmen, where are you??? Can anyone help us, what did they say in that program? And why do you think that you have all 12? August definitely something other, i even didn't try with tracklists before i can be sure it's Mike, and my time won't go in vain.

Also ver ystrange about different length of shows.So we have to figure out original length of the show, how often it was broadcasted and which other DJs worked with Mike. It might be like Eins Live Rocker each week other DJ Westbam, Paul van Dyk, Turntable Rocker, Mousse T, Moguai or Chris Liebing.

Nice one. I think I had that Mental Miracle track in there because the vocals were the same and it was the only mix left on the vinyl that I couldn't find a sample for, so I just assumed that was it.

You're right, there are (I think) 15 tracks that Mike played.

Before the rest of the Progressive Nations sets were released I had thought that this was just a one hour mix by Mike, so that's why the tracklist is missing a few tracks.

I still don't think the last two tracks are his though. They're both hard house radio edits and during the mix you can hear a "Mike is taking you to midnight" jingle, followed then by a "CET 12 o'clock" announcement just before those tracks.

So there are three tracks to add to the tracklist at the beginning..:

It's definitely there at the end alright, I just don't think that it's part of Mike's set.

Nice one, we're getting dangerously close to fully IDing one of these! Is that the Quivver mix of 3 Monkeys - Crazy People? A bit hard to tell with all the static but I think it could be. Any info on that Calling The Freak track?

Im pretty sure its not the Quivver mix This does not have the words in it like one in the set. so i'd say it was the original.

The only calling the freak relesed that year was Boarding Time.
so it must be that but i can't be sure from the sample i heard.

I think a lot of scanner tracks have come from the scan the world ep1 and scan the world ep2.

I might buy both these samplers to see if there any of the ones we are looking for! can't find any samples only the Boarding Time track.


I have most of the vinyls he has relesed. And quit a lot from that year. Thats how I new the HH mix of stange world.
