This has gotten so sad I haven't seen giving in and bender over for others this bad since Anna Nicole wanted to make baby time.

Posted by Spin Laden on Feb-16-2007 04:47:

I see the Islanders and Toronto BOTH won tonight

Posted by krusty11 on Feb-21-2007 14:09:

I saw the match last night at centre bell!
Like the atmosphere and had a lot of fun!

yup, that was a good one to go to! you're lucky.

so who's back on the bandwagon after 2 wins against crappy teams? nashville should be quite the test tomorrow night.

Rivet trade to San Jose for 22-year-old D-Man Josh Gorges and a first round draft pick.

Sweeeet ass trade! Lots in return for someone who's been pretty useless this year. Also freed up some cap room opening the door for another bigger trade.

If we can get this for Rivet, imagine what we could get for Souray! Can't wait to see what happens at the deadline.

Posted by all-nite-freak on Feb-26-2007 01:52:

I say we trade souray, koivu and kovalev for the washington nationals.

go expos!
youppi looks like a fag in a habs jersey.

Posted by Bertuzz on Feb-26-2007 03:23:

lol

Gorges?... I dunno. The guy is a DEFENSIVE defenceman, 10 pts in 100 games in career, little mobility, little offense skills. But he does have potential given only 2nd year in league...

1st round draft pick is good. But considering San Jose will make the playoffs and potentially go far again it could mean 20th-30th pick, which isn't necessarily so good.

looking forward to next 2 days though!!!

Posted by LiGHT78 on Feb-26-2007 06:11:

It's pretty likely it's just another pick to include in a trade to another team...

Whatever Gorges won't be more than a 6th or 7th defenseman for quite a while I'm sure. But even without Rivet our D has been fine. The big payoff may be that we save $2 million in cap space, making room to land someone big!

Posted by malek on Feb-26-2007 06:12:

finally!!! got rid of rivet, what dumb piece of shit of a player...

he should have been relegated a long time ago.

thank go my most hated player is gone.

Posted by SummerWolf on Feb-26-2007 06:22:

i still think they will still suck...

although Halak did won 3 of his 4 games... not bad for a rookie...

Posted by Spin Laden on Feb-26-2007 17:33:

wow, lots of parity in the NHL these days. The salary cap is one of the reasons and teams have to manage properly instead of just throwing money at players. I don't see Souray getting traded anytime soon.

Roberts about to be traded at any moment but apparently not to the Leafs.. this could be good news for the Habs, esp since Tucker and Wellwood are due back soon.

Cage au Sports

They're all around Montreal but I recommend the one in the Bell Center off de la Montagne.

Happy you enjoyed Montreal!

How about the Peel Pub? Only place I've watched the Habs play.

Posted by Marcus007 on Feb-26-2007 19:32:

I heard Dan Spector was replacing Pierre & Yvon on RDS...

good news for Habs, Roberts or Bill Guerin not going to TO. Bad news for Sens who will likely face Pens in first round.. he's been a Sens killer in the past.

Posted by Spin Laden on Feb-27-2007 20:36:

Habs went all Bal en Blanc-like and didn't do anything at the trade deadline

Posted by Spin Laden on Feb-27-2007 20:54:

and Ryan Smyth to Islanders.. bad news for Hab fans

Posted by Bertuzz on Mar-09-2007 05:50:
