Nice one guys!

Posted by minski on Jan-21-2007 04:31:

so nice u posted thrice? :P

had a mad time, props to benny and the rest of the organisers, I had a blast. Roth blew my mind, some of the best tunes Ive heard in a long time. May vs Bateman, you guys were great too. Love the mix of genres throughout the night.

Interview convertee forever, if only you'd thrown a damn tshirt my direction on the floor

Posted by Dj_Es-Dva on Jan-21-2007 04:52:

ok im going to write something... but theres so much, where to start.

Much love benny for everything as usal Also Deeman your a fucking legend, was great spending the better part of saturday arvo night and sunday morning doing random shit... middle lane lol. also vman and your boys are awesome! hehe

getting the music then, steve's set was bloody awesome whats the point ^_^ everything counts loved it all. blinky was great as usual and start to build that crowd...

although i quite enjoyed jaytech live, when i watched jimbo jump onto the cd and spin that first song, i went absolutely nuts!! so knew he was going to close with either starbright or engage didnt dissapoint.

mojo vs bateman was really weird, i dont know what to say... so... i dont know =\ was really diggin the choons, one track scotty played that i knew but couldnt id >_<

then there was roth O _ o was really excited but i got tempted by dean mentioning prog breaks earlier and soon went to have a quick listen... damn him i spent the entire time there i farkin loved that medley at the end, and i meant what i said haha.

mike was pumping as expected, unfrotunrately i was way too wrecked to really get into it but he did his job as good as he always does and ben, lol after all the thinking you chose that intro hehe, sounded like the psy went down pretty well all in all.

most fun ive ever had the vibe, music and people were all spot on.

bring on the photos

Posted by deceptikon on Jan-21-2007 05:01:

Had a very nice night, ran into stupid numbers of people I had not seen in a looooooong time which was nice despite the fact that I was quite mangled so thumbs up from me. Btw to all the TAs I met, good meeting you all, good to put faces to the forum names!

Posted by Dancemove on Jan-21-2007 05:43:

Never been to a interview before, got dragged along by a friend.
Very glad i came along now, got there in time to see Jaytech, tunes after tunes

Went to side room caught Virginia vs Reynolds set, they managed to keep me in that room, coulnt stop dancin! Bite the dust ftw!

Found my self downstairs again dancing to Roth, spent the rest of the night on the dancefloor

Mike and ben were great as well!!

What a great night!!! That was my first Interview and tell you what, it wont be my last!

Sean.

Posted by vman83 on Jan-21-2007 05:53:

Wow really great nite i had a blast

CONGRATULATIONS to Benny and the interview crew for succesfully making it to 1 year, you guys are making shockwaves in the party scene

ive gota say, without people like ben, scotty and strangis, i would probably be partying in some fully hektik kebab venue with muzteks eveywhere n shit so everyone should appreciate what they are doin

Was awesome fun to bump into the TAs, lovely crowd as usuall

Was nice to meet deceptikon, the fvkm greek cvnt ey what can u tell me about synths ? hahahaha

Choonage was awesome, i really enjoy hearing different sub genres rather then just banging and uplifting all night.

Scotty and Mo... awesome stuff, really good choonz... where the hell does mo find this shit ? hes like a gem collector or something aye ! I recognised a few of scotties tracks but buggered if i could ID them. Solid

Jaytech was cool as i really enjoyed his tunes... two thumbs up

Martin Roth... what can i say the man pwns noobs ! I was a little suprised tho because in the fliers he looks like a buff 6 and half foot wrestler type bloke... in real life hes actually quite tiny... i was wrapped to meet the man behind so many remixes in my crate, he has skills biatches betta recanizeeee

Mr Nichol is a cunny funt, i always love to see him play. Very banging, punch ya in teh face kinda style (fck im mangled atm) never a dull momment when watchin mike.

Ben sets kicked anus... missed the last 20 mins but from what i did see it was awesome. Everytime i see ben play, his sets are different, sub genre wise, but solid as. Chucked in Cant sleep (signum mix) which myself and few other happily hummed along to.

Kick ass night whens the next one !

Posted by tachyon on Jan-21-2007 21:19:

'twas really great fun! loved the sideroom heaps! it was really hot but i'd imagine thats how it always was in Tresor or DC10 Ibiza

jaytech was really great! love his productions a lot and he didn't dissapoint

scotty & mo were great too, missed the epping line (looking forward to the 12 inch guys ) but game plan was a blast on a big system!

dean's & soupy's set upstairs were the highlight, seeing dean mixing on wax was a trip to the oldskool pf days 'Andy Page & Marscruiser - Elementalelectrofunk' (is that it?) FTW!! .. also i think thats the first time i heard soups played techy stuff haha.. wicked!

finally seen mike nichols for the 1st time and i know now what everybody means when they say he mixes like PvD, would love to hear him play again without the technical difficulties he was having though, because i don't know yet whether i was impressed or not

happy b'day interview!

I only had a short but sweet night

I need to learn my friend how to party again. And get my crazies back.

Anyways, Blinky was AWESOME!! After that I wasn't ever sure who was playing when, but the mixup of styles is what I always adore at Interview, the tunes were smooth as so congrats to everyone who played.

And the crowd rock! Always great to catch up with and meet new people on these nights, this and Sunny are the friendliest parties out.

Posted by Dean Millson on Jan-21-2007 23:06:

Great Night. Yes Tachyon that is correct, it was Elementalectrofunk. The more I went through older tunes on Saturday afternoon, the more I realized that it was time to bring the prog-breaks out again to give a bit of homage to those glory years of 2003/2004 when the sound was really at it's most interesting I had a ball - thanks to the interview crew for having me along again

Posted by sunrise3500 on Jan-22-2007 00:32:

First 20 mins of roth was ~, then it got good and became brilliant! and when he drove it a bit harder the last 10 minutes it was good, he didn't pull it straight out of his ass, and instead took us on a journey there, where we didn't overstay.
Didn't stay for the sets following, but leading up, what's happend to trance? it's kinda non-existant. People falling asleep on couches, and the dancefloor was just people standing around nodding to the music..
side room was good though (in terms of tunes). virginia/julian the chicks were LURVIN the tunes, it's just a real shame that the room was a bit like a sauna

in conclusion, martin roth, good shit.

Posted by taubs on Jan-22-2007 03:04:

absolutely wicked party!

Chilled for a bit then hit the floor for Roth, took a while for me to get into it, but the last half hour was insane, Energise was unbelievable!

Mike Nichols was insane, like PVD totally agree, pumping and melodic I had planned to rest but once he came on I had no choice but to dance.

Sorry Ben but due to the aforementioned going nuts on the d-floor I was too wrecked and needed to head home, and missed your set, was looking forward to it, next time.

Ben man, you were right the lasers were awesome!

Posted by vitamin v on Jan-22-2007 07:51:

Had a fantastic night! Saw lot of peoples set's .. was great diversity in one night.

Spiral stairs + heels = heart attack

Good to see everyone showing support, well done boys.

Posted by Deeman on Jan-22-2007 08:36:

What day is it??? Huh

W0000t Interview No.1, had an absolute blast from start to finish (which was sometime this Monday morning!)

Everybody before me has pretty much posted exactly what I would have said anyway. Didn't make the side room at all so sorry I missed everyone who played in there but the main room was too good to leave.

Loved meeting more TA's inc, Dj_Es-Dva (lol middle lane!!, ur a champ), Queen_ Vee, Teflon Teapot, Deceptikon and Dean.

Hey Vman, fucken LOL @ Errol hahahahaha! Awesome to hang out again dude.

Talked up a truckload of BOLLOCKS with Steve May, ahaha that was hilarious. Next time you play I'm sit in the middle of the dancefloor eating Won-Ton Soup and stir fry .. bahaha!

Sooo much fun!!

Posted by Dj_Es-Dva on Jan-22-2007 08:51:
