Eli in general is in a bad situation...he's shy guy in a huge sports arket...u have assholes like Tiki and Stahan who wouldn't let Eli be a leader.

Eli still has makes mistakes as rookie that he shouldn't be doing..he stares down at recievers...he doesn't use the check downs very well..thats why takes alot of Sacks excecpt for last Sunday ( how many balls did Jacobs drop against the skins) and his accuracy is still an issue. He still has rabbit ears. When people see guys like Romo who barely started season with of games, changed offensive systems from year to the next, people are now wondering what happened to Rivers, Wrecks Grossman and Eli.

I remember Eli beating quality SEC teams when he was in College but he was playing in a small School in terms of expectations...maybe if Eli was playing in a small market town like his bro..things would probably different. Now all u have to do guys is get rid of STrahan..then Eli can really can try lead this team...without any more Michael "me-myself and I" Strahan.

I've only watched half of today's game so far b/c I had Christmas with my extended family, but so far we're up to four fumbles and no interceptions for Eli (I think he ended up with two). I'll finish watching the game tomorrow. I'm geared up for the Sat. night game against the Pats.

Eli threw the game away again on Saturday. Hopefully Atlanta still wants him.

fuck this shit!!! i was too angry to come and post about their game vs. NE but Giant got robbed of their win on penelties. It was too obvious.

painful to watch already....so what happens if Eli doesn't win?? I am all for getting a new QB for sure.

Why are you all for getting a new QB? Who in the NFL would you replace him with? The Giants went 10-6, losing to only other playoff teams (except the Vikings). They lost to Dallas twice, to Green Bay, New England (in a very close game), and Washington (where he played a horrible game).

I don't think that the Giants have the team to compete with Green Bay, Dallas or New England this year (or the Colts, who they never played). That's not Eli Manning's fault. His major flaw this season has been the turnovers, both INTs and fumbles, but he's got a 56% completion rating, his TDs are normal considering how much running the Giants do, and his QB rating is pretty respectable.

Sure, the Giants might be better with Peyton, Tom Brady, Roethlisberger, Tony Romo, Brett Favre, maybe a few others. That said, he's still one of the top 10 QBs in the NFL and pretty much all the others are staying put.

Anyone who can make better decisions than Eli. As far as not having the team to compete did you not watch the games? The should have won the 1st Dallas game and beat the Pats. Eli threw the Pats game away (I can't remember if he threw the Dallas one away because it's been so long ago.). He had a good game for himself on Sun. If it were any other quarterback though it would have a been a below average game.

Well I eat all my negative words from this season. WAY TO GO GIANTS!!!!

giants played the Pats hard and almost won, so dont despair, although winning in Lambeau againts the legend is not an easy task

All i know is Favre's experience outweighs any heroics of Brady over the past 3 seasons. When it comes down to it, I dont see them winning against the Packers. Close game yea, but I have a feeling Favre will win it this yr.

the weather will be a big factor with 6�F and it wont be much the conditions for passing, with winds to be expected at least above 10 m/h, then the giants should have a field day running the ball and i dont see packers running game breaking the giants D.

this coming game can really go either way.

EDIT: Lets just see how it plays out but both games next week should be good games although I dont see chargers having a chance you know my opinion on the other game.

and in a long run either packers or giants will put up a big game vs patriats

I didn't see anyone on FOX/CBS giving the GIANTS or the CHARGERS any chance today, so it seems like upset season, let's hope it ends up that way!
