What an unbelievable night
My last trance energy as Dutch citizen was one to remember.
It started with the gathering that was organized by me.
TA's and Myspace people joined the gathering.
They came from USA, Canada, Argentina, England, Malta and Italy.
And I was the only Dutch guy

As soon everybody was there, we left to Central Station, buying tickets, get something to eat and taking the train to Utrecht.
Arrived @ jaarbeurs venue, we meet up with some Dutch friends of my and they had little mixed drinks for us, called Party Boosters.
And than we went inside.
My personal schedule of the DJs I wanted to see:
Phynn, Sander van Doorn & Markus Schulz @ Mainstage, first 3 djs at main.
then heading to clubstage to see Rank 1.
Back to Mainstage to see Cosmic Gate & Marcel Woods.
and closing with Cor Fijneman, but the last dj I didn't see.
I stayed @ main with Gielen as closing act.
My bad knee was f**ked up, danced too much
But Gielen didn't impress me at all with his set.
Too many breaks, not really uplifting tracks.
Just a few classics he played, recorded some of them.
But talking about the other DJs:
Phynn impressed me a lot with his set, he was the opener @ Main.
And he was kicking.
Very great.
Sander van Doorn's set was okay, he played some good stuff, but
I missed some kind of energy in his set.
Markus, respect for this man.
He was unbelievable.
I saw him last time @ Panama, Amsterdam with Armada Night and again he surprised me with his set last night.
Very uplifting, very energetic.
Then from Main to Club to see Rank 1.
Man, Piet was in a classic mood.
He played the most unbelievable classic trance tracks.
And 1 hour and 15 minutes is not much, but Piet filled this timeperiod with a great set.
Respect for Piet
Back to Main to see Cosmic Gate.
Everybody was talking about their set.
They started with great Trance and the last part of their set was the Cosmic Gate we all know: HARD TRANCE
Finally with their set the laser show started.
And than, in my opinion, better set than last year @ main:

OMG 
My number 1 DJ of last night.
He was unbelievable, typical Marcel Woods style, great hard trance.

Thank you all FLTA, LATA, NYTA, TOTA and myspace buddies for a great experience again and great meeting you all and seeing you soon somewhere in Trance Nation Holland or in the USA/Canada.

Hahah, I'll give a more full review when I get back to the U.S. - but holy shit last night was awesome!
Big thanks to Jordy for getting everyone together, that was just awesome, even though we lost everyone inside haha.
Cosmic Gate was completely awesome, like he said above, they started off trancey, and then started throwing down some hard tracks, I can't really remember a lot of the tracklist though.
My favorite set of the night goes to Markus Schulz. He threw down tons of uplifting energetic tracks, closing his set with the Alex Morph remix of Without You Near... totally amazing track!
Johan closed the party up proper! He threw down a lot of great classics, but a little too much filler in between them. He played The Voyage (I think that's what it was), Flight 634, Synesthesia, and that new (I think DJ Tatana) remix of Airwave. That guy is so good at working the crowd too. He threw up the lighter!! I love that shit. He gave a bunch of shoutouts, got everyone going crazy, then closed out the party with one of my absolute favorite track ever - SUPERSTRINGS!
It was another awesome Trance Energy. See you in 2008, Jaarbeurs!

Had a really great night and danced the living shit out of myself from time to time.
Met a few of you others inside wich was really cool, I'll thank robdawg for that (do you have the picture of me and you up front?)
I must say that Menno was my total favourite of the night. My god he totally fucked me up from the beginning and almost made me cry like a baby when he played spirit!

Having personal experience in TE 2002, 2003 and 2004 i can say that last night the name of the party was TRANCELESS ENERGY.
Thank god Johan came up and made up for the rest.
I was wandering a bit, and I had to take breaks due to my medical condition (lol) and I don't think the painkillers helped me get in the party mood either hehe.
It seems like everytime a great track was played, I was somewhere else hehe.
Too much techy stuff for my liking, but I did enjoy seeing the girls @ Jean lol :P
finally back in NY !! OMG what a night it was!!! my best party ever. the stage design & lasers were amazing. I stayed mostly on mainstage, and the only time i left was to go see Rank1 & second half of Gareth Emery's set. i can't believe Johan dropped superstring at the end! it was like a dream come true. i always wanted to hear that tune at a huge party, like Trance Energy.
Jordy and Chris, and all the other TA's, it was nice meeting all of you! i don't remember everyone's names; i was the one wearing Trance Energy "Trance-Addict New York" shirt.
I hope to see u all at future trance parties!.
besides that, see u all on TA forums & myspace.

As every year i went to trance energy. The first set from Phynn blowed me away. That guy is just amazing imo. After him the party goes downwards. It wasnt a trance energy that i prefer. I was hoping to catch some progresive tracks but it was tech trance all the way with svd. Then marcus shulz...i was excited to see him, but he didnt impress me much. Went to rank 1, That was a nice set a shame he wasnt on main. I went home at half past 4, to early but a think the party wasnt getting better. This trance energy wastthe last one i will visit or they have to come whit a better line up on main.

Then it's a shame that you missed Johan. Although his mixing was crap as always he did a pretty good set, a set you would expect to hear in trance energy.
