complimentary "daawwww"

Posted by Silky Johnson on Feb-01-2007 21:17:

Totally "dawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww". And that's the perfect nose stud, imo. I really have yet to see a person that it doesn't look good on.

LOL @ the direction this thread has taken, too!

yeah it's been so long since i've gone in for a tat/piercing, and i'm starting to get that itch again. i think once spring rolls around i'm gonna either get my nose pierced or have an addition done to my back tattoo. we'll see!

Tricia - it's not so much the pain i'm afraid of. that i can handle. but i have a HUGE fear of needles and i'm afraid i'll pass out if i watch them stick a needle thru my nose. getting my navel pierced was fine since i was able to lay back and stare at the ceiling, plus i knew the guy that did it so i was less anxious... but when i got my ears pierced i passed out!

Walker - i think i've told you this before, but i'd like to reiterate... your girl is a hottie.

Whoa whoa...back tattoo?? Pics?

Posted by Frenchie on Feb-01-2007 21:19:

Oh true, Myra.

Well the girl told me to look away, because I told them I was scared of needles. It was so quick that I barely had time to really panic. I breathe in and before I could exhale it was done. If you've gotten tattoos then this is a walk in the park.

not the whole back. just lower back. i know, totally trendy area. i was 18.

i don't have any pics but i'll try to get one later. it's freakin' hard aiming a camera at my butt!

edit // i do have a pic...

i want to add more detail and extend the design, maybe add a sweet looking heart design around what's already there. i dunno. i've been working on ideas for that for years and i haven't come up with anything good.

yeah now that i think about it, i was fine when i went to get my earholes stretched from normal (16 gauge i think?) to 14 gauge. that hurt like a bitch but i was cool. i usually just have to warn whoever is piercing me that i get lightheaded VERY easily and they've always been super accomadating as far as letting me sit down and chill somewhere and collect my braincells afterwards.

i hate needles too, i wouldnt ever get a piercing...maybe a tattoo at Miami Ink someday.

Posted by Frenchie on Feb-01-2007 21:35:

Myra, make sure that when you change it you change it to something that wont clash with your gauges. Your nose will be more suited for a small stud that way it'll even out your face so to say.
Small diamond studs ftw.

I'd like to get a phoenix (full colour) tattooed over my scorpion if possible. If not, I'm just gonna have it removed.

Remove it? sick of it? Regret it?

Yeah I don't like it anymore. It was my first tattoo...I like that it's a scorpion, but I don't like the actual design anymore.

yeah, i'd definitely go with a small diamond stud. anything more would look unprofessional, imo.

My thoughts exactly. Hence why I got rid of my eyebrow piercing the 1st of January. Just time to grow up, and be taken more seriously in the office and such. Some people , especially teens, don't realize that clumpy big jewelry does effect your look in the work place.

I've thought a lot lately about getting the inner circle dispay part of a CDJ1000 tattoed on me in some abstract form.

/g33k.

speaking of tattoos and DJing, did you know Robin (Solokill) works at a tattoo shop on the east side? i was considering contacting her to see if she could help me come up with a sweet design to add onto my lower back.. maybe even music related.

No, I didn't. But I'd love to run into her again.

Let's get ahold of her and get inked this weekend.

Sweet. I have a friend of mine who did that with his DJ symbol. It's awesome if done right.

hah yeah i was not-so-secretly happy about that
they're just waaay too cliche right now
i know a select few people who have faces that seem built for a nose-ring, but other than those like 2 or 3 people, everyone else i know with one it just looks, not really bad, but it doesn't look good

Bottom photo =

I'm not the biggest fan of nose piercings. It takes the right person with a small stud to pull it off, and not many can.
