Patterson is brilliant when he plays this sort of stuf. Its when he entres into the darker stuf and recent Dogzillish stuf that he can be a bit poorer. Always plays with huge energy though

I used to use Mixed in Key alot...

but its better to use your ears primarily and use it only as a guide in general... you can make better transitions if you use creativity

I was horrible at first, just like you said it serves as a quide then you learn how to beat the system...
