I was going to post a job opportunity on TA for a position at the bank that I work for during the day...

Then i realized they don't play trance... so no one here would be interested in the job.

I believe it's a realistic assumption that the position of "DJ" would not be fulfilled by any of the DJs on this board. It's probably safe to say that the DJs on TOTA generally spin EDM - be it trance, house, techno...whatever.

That's not to say that Michelle's thread was useless. She said she was trying to fill other positions as well.

i dont know how well this club will do but i have a feeling they wont last over a year due to all the competition, if a club really wants to survive for over a year they need to have a liquor licence

You never know though. I don't live in Toronto, but perhaps there's a demand for a club for people under 19.

I'm not gonna speak for all girls, but I know quite a few that find this extremely annoying. You don't even have to think up stimulating conversation, but if you want to grind up on a girl, the polite thing to do is at least ask! Just say "hey, want to dance?" and there ya go.

At Lawler on NYD a guy came up to me and asked me to dance and I was utterly shocked. That rarely happens that guys ask nowadays it seems - usually they just assume. I politely said "no thanks, my boyfriend's at the bar" and he nodded and moved on.

Yeah..one of my friends was telling me that it was getting packed so we ended up going inside the Docks, and right after we did they closed the garage doors and didn't let anyone else in..

Must of sucked for the bouncers...
