Yeah definitely one of the top parties i have been to!

The venue was awesome (MUCH MUCH better than metro IMO), was so easy to wander from one section to the other and while it was pretty packed at some stages it was never overly crowded.

The music...
Derb was absolutely crazy, was great to hear some good hard (but not too hard ) music again, Derb - Derb ftw.
Mark Norman as well played one of the best sets i've heard, not hardcore choonage just solid mixing and great flow.

Overall a great night, was good to catch up with a few guys (and mandi ) as well

And i agree with FiK.. Palace much better venue than Metro. More room to move, and its not suffocated with as many bloody stairs..
Although sound was not up to scratch in some of the outside rooms..

Derb was all class, quality tunes throughout. (must mention his addition of scot project's rmx of advanced.. wow!)
Isaac better than expected and glad he played a few of his own classics!
DBD also delivered quite well.

But Kamui as special guest? I was holding out for DJ Bossi but meh..

I still had an awesome time though!

And the no passouts idea worked a treat

does tony have to close with d.r.u.g.s by neophyte every single time he plays at events? gosh, this honestly would've been at least the 5th time in a row.. lol
his a great d.j. and i know he chooses what he wants at the end of the day, but i would love to hear him close with something different next time. maybe its revenge for not being able to close with it as he wanted to at sunshine ppl '06.. lol..

so 4 reviews now, and not one mentions K&A.
Did they not play or did they suck, or did every one of you not see them?

k&a were top notch. they played how the usually play - lotsa big vocal tunes and a great party set really.

walk down, kiksu, made of sun, megashira, are you fine, good for me, find, proper education, sirens of the sea, moonlight party, smack my bitch up (durand), snow patrol - chasing cars (topher/jarrell)...

a mate did a tracklist so it'll get up here sometime. (someone else prob did as well).

mark norman was class as well. enjoyed both their sets.

i did not see them. for i was in attendance strictly for the black segment.

awesome night! sorry to any of the ta's i met last night. i was a disgrace lol.

set of the night = DERB. soo good. kyau and albert were a let down, just played cheese. the two marks in the white room were very very solid. mark norman is an awesome dj and top bloke to match. he needs to be playing in australia more often.

That was very decent, enjoyed it thoroughly. Nice meeting a few new ta's.....fp_cookie, vitamin v & catching tachyon & the whole interview crew again.

But yeah, last night was all about the locals for me......everyone kicked arse in the interview room, as did mark james (set of the night), ben & trent & even dr willis.

Only international set i properly caught was Mark Norman who were very decent, can anyone recall whether they dropped their new remix of expander?....but yeah, i can't recall what i was doing for the 2 hrs during k&a but i do recall hearing kiksu & made of sun, lol.

Good party, and the white v black theme went down a treat.

Worth noting, the white room definitely had the best vibe last night IMO. Main room was pumping but at the same time was awful...every time i had to pass through there to get from the white room to the interview room i walked at 100 miles an hr

missed it what a pain! managed to pick up walt and felix "expansion" with an "original mix" so im extreemly to get a real clean new copy! but the bedroom doesnt compair to being in the middle of everyone, the thing i love most about raves is the atmosphere (btw lastnight was my 3rd rave and lovin it)

I thought K&A were awesome last night: pretty commercial but some nice vocal, uplifting trance, and what's wrong with that??

I was too busy in the Interview room watchin' Virginia & Julz play! Good set by the way Virginia. Miss the start of Kyau vs. Albert set! and was told that "Megashira" was the 3rd track play by them.
Overall the night was alright, IMO. Can someone ID the rest of the list? Thanks.

i had a sick night!

Always good to meet a few new TAs; liz, deeman, julian, chubbs and groova (lol @ random encounters haha ). As well as catch up with old ones, you know who u are

I thought the palace was an awesome venue, was easy to get from room to room, no stairs ftw!

Got in in time to see the end of mark james' set and lol he was playing psy! banging it out, totally unexpected but pretty good all the same.

Then saw derb, his first say half an hour of his set i didnt like too much as dark by design played b4 him he continued with a hardstyle theme but once he started getting into the hard trance songs he was awesome!

Then went back and saw the last 30 mins of kva. came in to chasing cars... meh. i knew they would be serving up cheeseburgers and i just said if they play find or made of sun ill be happy. they played both in the last 10 mins so it was all good.

then mark norman came on and omg what a fucking set! he was sooooo good. did everything right, sublime mixing, awesome set flow, sick tunes. didnt really know many tunes he played but fuck i couldnt stop dancing. seriously up there with the best sets that i have ever seen. tech trance to perfection!
norman was a top bloke as well, was loving it when i told him what i thought of his set haha.
nutter, forget kva. you woulda absolutely loved mark norman
still cant get over how good he was haha

after that had a chill out in the interview room, jpl nice stuff dude the 2 dudes after jules were pretty good too.

Finished up seeing abit of chubbs and strangis, both solid sets.

Only downside was the crowd in the main room was abit agro so tried to stay out of there as much as possible lol

Kyau & Albert were cheesy, but what else would you expect?

Mark Norman was brilliant.

The crowd seemed bored by Mark Norman, halfway through the set and a majority of people were sitting down or just not dancing. That was pretty disappointing.

What a wicked party, well done to Pharmacy and Interview!

The white room was fucking top notch, i loved the crowd in there most of the time, especially during Kyau & Albert.. What a awesome and fun set!! I loved singing along and dancing to the tunes they dropped... it was a little mainstream but wicked to hear it out.

Ben and Trent's set was a fantastic kick start to the night, and Mark James really surprised me! Im very impressed by all these boys.

Cant wait til the next one, SEAN TYAS!!

yeah I had a real awesome night as well!

got a bit of K&A before heading over to Derb which was really good, K&A sounded much the same as they did last time so was glad to get most of derb in. Then caught the last part of K&A!

Had a real good time during Mark Norman and thought Strangesis set was fantastic, good work mate.

One damn good pharmacy!

oh and definitely palace > metro by far!
