Now that it's officially been released, has anyone actually gotten a copy of the full release yet? I just got mine yesterday and it sounds as though it was initially recorded way too loud so it's basically distorting the entire time...it's noticeable on every track on disc 1 & 2, but it's rediculously apparent on Acca - Rain (Gravity Dub).

Anyone else who's gotten the actual CD have this issue?

actually it *might* be the problem of your cd player.

You see, lot of commercial CD's are mastered to 0dB and that could cause distortion in some cd players. 99% of cd players will play them fine, though.

If not, then the label or the cd pressing plant is to be blamed.. Either way.. very unprofessional

Checked the finished cds and they sound phat... They were mastered by one of the best in the business...www.jackthebear.com.au

If you have an issue with the CD I suggested emailing the label - [email protected]... They're a very accomodating bunch and should be able to help you out... ;

Actually djthunderbird was right, I just got home and played the discs on cdjs and they sound great, the player in my work comp just must be a bit screwy. Didn't have a chance to listen to it last night and figured I may have just gotten a one off disc as I've never had that happen before. Anyways, cheers to the both of you for the help

After being teased by only the sampler for the last few weeks, I finally listened to this the whole way through and wow...both discs are ridiculously good, it's the best thing (mix/compilation) I've heard in quite some time. I just hope a Denver stop is announced on his release tour...

hahaha looks like some of the guys from Balance need to double check their provinces. Not all of Canada is in Ontario last i checked. They shoulda checked with Luke.

Yeah, I saw this a while ago. Also, Chicago isn't in Idaho, Boston isn't in New York, and Jacksonville isn't in Delaware

I put CD 1 in my car on the way home from school... and 10 hours later, it was still in. Can't get enough of it. The progression is so very nice - feels more like Howells' GU than a Balance release imo.
