The guy I went and saw it with is a total spider man fan and he even said it was "meh". So I guess it really depends on the person.

Carnage would be sweet! I was thinking that Venom would play a major role in the 3rd movie, biggest disappointment was his 30 min cameo. They should have let him live and had some Separation Anxiety in Spider-Man 4

Anyway, yeh guys i saw the movie yester and i have to say. Its not a complete disapointment like everyone is saying, that is just bullcrap. After all the bad reviews everyone shared i had to play close attention to everything on the movie and i have to say a lot of guys "over bashed" it. the first half hour of the movie has poorly done acting due but nothing too serious as everyone was saying, at least not in my opinion, if anyone cares. Yes the plot was very bumpy. I, beign a spider man fan, felt that the movie fell off a little too superficial, not being deep enough. I felt like they tried too fit and bunch up too much in one movie, leaving a lot of main points out. BUT this was the one movie of the whole series i felt the least bored. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, it was deffinately the most action packed and the most thrilling of the three. plot wise spider man 2 was just fenomenal, overall the best, but i really love action so this one took it home for me. If spider man 3 was made into 2 seperate movies it would have been a knockout!
edit: venom didnt realy die if i recall the comics, im sure he will be back.
Only weird thing is they said it will be filmed with or without maguire, dunst, and their current director. Idk how that will work...
Yeah I heard Maguire is done with the Spider-Man series. There really shouldn't be a 4 imo, it will probably go the way of The Fast and The Furious 2.
Dang without tobey or all the other actors it would reek big time.
They should stop. Haven't they made enough money?
Haven't watched the movie yet but I know that the only good things about the 1st 2 movies and prolly this one is the bad guys. I think Carnage would be good for the 4th and Christian Bale should play Kassady... they both have that evil smile haha

saw it last nite... really was not that impressed with it, seemed more like a gateway movie for the next one. the story was decent and the twists i could see coming. good special effects and im sorry but spiderman trying to be a bad ass with his emo haircut is just gay!
