That 5-on-3 that Buffalo got in the 3rd was GARBAGE. Both of those penalties were questionable at best. The whole 3rd period Ottawa went from one penalty-killing to another - they weren't playing THAT dirty to have that many penalties.
On the other hand, good to see Buffalo can only score on a powerplay if they have a 2-man advantage.

Alfredsson's goal was a beaut - ripped it through two defencemen, I don't even think Miller ever saw the shot coming.
im so happy to see the sens finally put'em away. buffalo are a great team but they relied way to much on miller in the end.
now the big question!!!! Detroit OR Anaheim!!!????

hmmmm, so let see... Habs won '93, Vancouver lost in '94 and recently Calgary, Edmonton and now Ottawa in the last three Stanley Cup finals.
And the Leafs haven't even been to the final in 40 YEARS!!!!

i dont no wat u guys were watching but the calls were fair enough. the reffing was average and they let them play in OT and same with the first period.
All I gotta say is GO SENS and SCREW YOU LEAFS!!! I cheered when the Flames were in the final... I cheered especially hard for the Oilers last year... but the Sens winning would bring the cup back to Canada and give the big ol FUCK YOU to the Leafs so I'm cheering for them even more

I can safely say that NO ONE truly thought Ottawa would win this series in 5. Fuck am i ever glad they did.
Looking at the recap, AGAIN, Sabres PP was a huge factor.
3rd period, Ottawa took 5 penalties to Buffalo's none, and only scored one goal.
Championship teams just dont let opportunities like that slip away.
Much respect to Buffalo tho from me. Really good season that coulda been great if they'd won it all.
seems only time they could score on us is if it was 5 on 3..
besides buffalo had it easy. we had the penguins first round, devils second round..
^^^well the top ranked team IS supposed to get the easier draw so no surprise there. i have respect for ottawa for making it to the final because i just didn't think it would be done. if they play detroit i hope they win if it's anaheim i'm sorry but i wanna see anaheim win badly
