^^^Last time I checked I didn't insult your intelligence because 1) I don't know you and 2) I don't base people's intelligence on their knowledge of sports . Your responses thus far are a bit too childish for my tastes and I sincerely wish your team luck...let's hope they can pull their sh*t together to make this series more interesting for the rest of us to watch.

How is that possible? The Canucks got knocked out of the second round by the Ducks.

Assumptions all around

if you cant insult peoples intelligence and beliefs based on their knowledge of sports and the fact you know nothing about them.... what are you supposed to be doing on the internet????

lol, I was just having fun. Nothing personal. But if I was to try and make it in sports business, I would be perusing media content outside my country every once in awhile .. and develop a thicker skin in process too .. because that's what you'd need in the real world outside the university bubble.

Red Wings in seven

i'm not really bothered by you. i've had experience interning /volunteering /working for teams in the the nhl, nfl, mlb, nba and afl so i haven't really been locked into school mode all that much. hard for you to judge whether i have thick skin or not especially since you don't know me

should be good times.. there's thousands of comfy seats at the Bell Centre and there should be better crowd controls than say, LOL or even BeB.

Go Sens Go
Blow Leafs Blow - not even a Finals appearance in 40 years

oh man when ottawa scored that 4th goal pretty much everyone on my street must of heard me hahaha

nothing inspires a team more than the gutsy 4th line scoring a big goal!!! the way the big guys reacted when they scored says it all!!

Posted by chimera66 on Jun-03-2007 02:24:

if going by previous decisions that goal shouldn't have counted BUT in all honesty he didn't kick it in though he looked like he did

Posted by Engine9 on Jun-03-2007 02:25:

whats the score?

there was no kicking motion. the follow through was after the puck had left his skate cuz he was using it come to a stop.

Dumbest pair of words EVERRRRR. It's the most subjective part of hockey and I HATE IT. They should simplify the rule to, "off the skate, no goal". Done. No more 10-minute video conferences on whether he was moving his foot on purpose or not or blah blah blah. Off the skate, no goal. It's obvious no one ever shoots for the skate of another player instead of the net, so if it does hit the skate, it's completely because the shooter fucked up, and as such shouldn't count.

i just think they should be consistant with these calls which they haven't been. like i said i don't think he kicked it in but after the puck made contact with his foot he looked like he was making a "distinct kicking motion" even though i KNOW he was trying to stop. i was pretty much 100% sure it wasn't a goal...doesn't matter though because the ducks played like crap

thats the dumbest comment everrrrr!!!
off the skate/foot is just another part of the body. so if thats the case then anything off any part of the body shouldnt be counted as that wasnt the shooters intention was it??? or maybe it was.

sorry but thats a load of crap!!

on a side note: it aint over yet. i really liked ottawa emotion levels. shame they didnt have that in the first game.

heres a question for ya all!!!

without a prior conviction in the last round nobody would of thought anything of it BUT....

WILL CHRIS PRONGERS HEAD BLOW GET ANOTHER 1 GAME SUSPENSION????

colin campbell has got to punish him some way or another...

It was a deliberate mugging. I'd boot him for rest of the playoffs, esp. with his disciplinary record.

i agree you cant go around lifting your arms on players. i dont care if your 6ft6 keep your damn hands and elbows down.

its often not the intial blow that does the most damage damage but falling with disorrientation and the head hitting the ice. im just happy mcammond seemed to be ok.

yeah i don't think pronger was actually thinking which is unfortunate. also, i heard mcammond has had concussions issues in the past so i hope he's alright

Pronger will get suspended for one game.. hopefully the Sens take advantage, unlike the Red Wings. This will be a big turning point for one of these teams, imo.

One another note, Sens fever has officially hit the Nation's Capital big time. Even the sketchiest of edm afterhours here had pretty much a portion of sea of Red

Posted by chimera66 on Jun-03-2007 15:03:

^^^I wish people here would feel like that...one of my best friends lives in LA and I'm 100% sure she has no idea that the Ducks are in the Stanley Cup Finals at least when the Rangers were in the playoffs the team did a good job of publicizing the fact

fuck, if only he would get suspended for their at home game. that's the one we have to worry about.

Posted by Spin Laden on Jun-03-2007 18:43:

it's official, one game for Pronger. This could go seven again for a Canadian team if the Sens get a win on Monday.
