so, i leave for work around 2pm -and the douchemate is watching the TV shows i had taped for him on thursday. (Smallville and some other show right afterwards).

i get back at 1130pm, after work - and of course, he's playing his computer game.

"i'm surprised you're still up" i said when i walked into my bedroom

"what?" he shouts

"i'm surprised you're still up" i repeat.

"why am i still up?"

"I'M SURPRISED YOU'RE STILL AWAKE"

"Oh, yeah i just had to finish up some things"

"wow, whenever we were on days, i always was in bed by 10pm"

"well as long as i get 6 hrs of sleep, i'm ok"

(meaning, you're obsessed with a video game, and its taking over your life and messing with your head so you can't make a fucking comprehensive common sense thought that says, "hey, tomorrow is my first day back at work....i should be fully rested for it".)

anyways, i take care of my dog, give her her pills and such, and then go to my couch to watch the prison break episode i had taped from last week as well.

around 1am he pops his head into the living room...

"so, work starts at 7am right?"

*facepalms self*

"yes, work starts at exactly 7am" i replied with a "holy fuck are you serious?" attitude/tone of voice.

"oh ok, just wanted to make sure"

now folks, let me try to set the tone for you on this. the guy has been away from work for 3 months. he gets back, and instead of reporting in to *anyone* he just comes in to my house, and plays his video game all fucking day long.

when i was feeding my dog, i threw her can of food out in the trash, and low and behold, there was a "pizza hut pazone" box sitting ON TOP of the garbage bin lid. he ate the whole fucking 1 lb pazone, and then didn't even bother throwing it IN the garbage. holy shit, how lazy are you!?!?!?!?!?!? ps, he's lucky my dog didn't get ahold of any scraps that he left in the box.

i've decided that i'm not going to take my garbage out. i'm going to let it stockpile, and see if he takes it out (like a normal human being that lives w/ someone else would do). my buddy ian who was staying with me for about 5 days after our new orleans escapade helped around the house - cleaned some dishes, took trash out, etc... 5 days, he was living with me, and did this stuff.

this douche was living with me for 3 weeks before he took off for tech school and didn't do jack shit. and it appears as if he's back on the same track.

kids, i'm not surprised if i wake up around noon, and he's still sleeping.

sigh.
