Not an ordinary mix by my behalf. It's a live mix, showing the yin and yang of life - the bursts of joy and the moments of sadness. It does not shoot to be cohesive, the idea is to be diverse, broken and then patched, living but wounded.
I hope you will feel the same while listening. It has some rock influences here and there as well (even a Phil Collins song, one of my favorites). Enjoy!
ah yes
the tracklist looks a little strange, should be interesting to see how you mixed these tunes.
I'll listen to this while I go hunting for pink deers. Yup.
Thanks for listening, I hope you like it.
Looking forward to your feedback.
Bumpy!
This most recent was pretty epic. Definitely enjoyed it.
You have some of the most consistently good sets here. Keep it up!
Thanks for listening.
I consider the last one to be one of my best so I am glad that someone found it to be very good as well.
Cheers
Hello everyone, long time no see. I present you a live mix made at 3 to 5 am in Judaberg, Norway. Lying on the sofas, having a chat, drinking good whiskey and having a good time with some very friendly people that I met just a couple of days ago. At some points the mixing might be ropey but I hope you will like it. The idea of this mix was stuck in my head long ago so I had somewhat of a vision how should I do this. I hope you enjoy it. It is dream time!

just listened to this. pretty nice for a reading session. mixing is so~so. selection is where it's at -- you keep these very long sustained sections afloat for a long time. you had some more spacious/darker stuff scattered around the set and think if you used that to bring the set down in vibe and then back up it would feel more like a trip.
what's that gritty first track??
Thanks for the comment Mikhail.
I highly appreciate it. I agree with what you said. My idea was to diverse the set at some points since it was a very late night set so I was trying to create something like an ethereal atmosphere in the room.
My "crowd" of less than 20 people liked it.
I didnt save the tracklist though so I will need time for a full tracklist. The first track is y0t0 - Black Ice though, released on Facture (a.k.a. Fluid Audio). Here is a link: http://facture.bandcamp.com/album/uriarra-road
Strongly recommending it!
Cheers!
Hey Mag, I listened to this last weekend. A bit different than what I'm used to from you, there were some very interesting tracks in here. This music is very complex and intelligent. The mixing faltered like some of your past ambient mixes where there would be a moment of silence before the next track, but still easy to overlook. Nice job!
Thanks zip, again, for the feedback!
I just added the entire tracklist (took awhile to assemble
).
