Yeah it's an absolute riot. Especially when they didn't have my property on the jail on 12th ave. and i had to walk back 5 miles to South beach afterwards. And now I have to get a notorized letter to get my shit back from 1100 Washington and Fedex it here...unless you wanna be a doll and get it for me?

What exactly did you friend say happened and what did he do to prevent the bouncers from beating me up? My memory is spotty and I need to know details

Yeah, Deadmau5 is from Toronto too. Nice photoshop job. I hope your mom is proud of you.

Maybe you should spend your time doing other creative things. Like colouring in colouring books.

Or maybe I should plan a trip to Canada to get arrested at a concert, that's sounds pretty creative. And then after I will blame the cops that arrested me for hopping a wall to get back in and charge the stage with a blue sports bottle. <--- so random to have a "blue sports bottle"
That creative enough for you?

Lol I actually found the story quite hilarious Why would you even think (being drunk or not) handing the dj money would be a good idea? What did you want a lapdance? Either way he was next to you and saw you doing that shit, when the bouncers saw what an ass you were being they tryed to take you out. At which point you began to refuse the bouncers were pushing you around at which point my friend feeling bad went up to the guys told them to chill and that he would take you out of the place.

I guess I gave him money since I dunno if the 30 K he got had the optional 18% South Beach tip on it that all the restaurants like charging. He could be wanting that too!

But how was I being an ass? I rememember feeling I wanted to talk to the guy and request a song, but its not like I was gonna knock him out, but I guess security can't determine that and have to take measures...? I know I was feeling happy and I definately didn't want to get in fights...

And yes I probably was refusing to leave. This is one of the things I had come to South Beach for and couldn't believe they kicked me out at the time. I was even refusing the cops and I guess that's what fucked me over.

Well I hope you got a good 2-3 minute laugh afterwards, the latter part of my vacation was ruined basically.

Yeah I'm feeling shit all over again seeing your post. I guess you live and learn.

Posted by MeLLyMeL on Jul-08-2008 23:47:

Why would anybody act like that anywhere?

Doesn't matter that you are from Toronto or butt-fuk-egypt. Respect the dj's who you go see.

STFU & DANCE.

As stated before, if you have to keep ASKING what you did that resulted in you getting kicked out, then there's your answer. Now enough about you and more about the party

Restaurants have to charge tips in touristy towns because some ppl don't know how to tip If you had a problem with it then there are tons of pizza/fast food chains that don't charge.

I totally agree. New York has the best bread around. Pizza, Bagels, and Jewish style sandwiches. They own that shit!!

On a more funny note that guy Nobbie Q made me think of this video. This is pretty much how I picture him.

Edit - I haven't tried that place? It's way in upper manhattan. Don't think I've ever gone that far up. 81st St.

edit #2 - if u want another great brick oven pizza that's closer and really famous [lines outside go around the block just for a seat.. EVERY SINGLE DAY!] Grimaldi's is just on the end of the brooklyn bridge. (L)

Lets be honest here, there were probably other ppl there that were most likely on coke or e, so when you say that I am what's wrong with the scene, you're talking half of the crowd there. I was on vacation, got too wasted, acted a fool, and got arrested.

I am what's rigth with the scene, I buy mix compilations, singles, and i don't get what's wrong with coming up to the DJ booth. I remember Sasha was spinnin at Guv and I tossed my GU 13 Ibiza cd booklet on a vinyl deck. The guy signed it and gave it back.

I also saw Deadmau5 in I think April. I was right behind the DJ Booth and I even told him to play a song which he did later on.

Get the hell out of here.

I don't even know where to begin here?
You call yourself a music fan but yet you go to see your favorite dj and get completely wrecked before hand.
Like I said before I don't blame these bouncers one bit, you are what's wrong with our scene and it bothers me beyond belief to see morons like you getting arrested, people g'ing out, overdosing etc.. at events that I look forward to hearing good music.

You're an embarrassment to my country.

Only caught like 1-2 hours of this thing, since security called the cops on me and arrested me for "disorderly intoxication". I guess I was pretty smashed. I kept coming up right to the front, I barely remembered giving AVB like a $20 and he looked pretty confused. Security kept pushing me back and then finally somehow they kicked me out, but then i jumped back in and then next thing i know the cops grabbed me somehow. I didn't hurt anyone, but I guess I was having too much fun.

Those pigs arrested me right in the lobby so if any of you saw a brown guy in a blue and white shirt, his vacation from fri nite to sunday was ruined by sitting in the county jail on 12th street.

Pretty pissed I missed a good party. I was soaking wet from the rain that started. I was staying at the beautiful National hotel down the street, and I could hear the beats blaring from the Surfcomber during the daytime, and basically just waiting it out until the bigger DJs would come on later.

Missed Hernan Cattaneo as well. What crappy vacay..judge gave me a "withholding ajunication" or whatever and at least I didn't have to pay anything. From whatever I saw, the ppl seemed cool there.

Now I have to UPS my wallet, shoes, belt and watch from 1100 Washington. I totally underestimated the cops...not like Toronto at all. Toronto cops would have just kicked me out with a warning and not bother to arrest, but i guess the south beach police are just jerks. I was really looking forward to partying with you all as everyone seemed up for it.

I'm still very pissed this happened.

Gimme a fucking break. Yeah I admit I brought it on myself. I was on vacation like I said and I got wrecked, but don't tell me you're a perfect angel, not drinking at all. Like in the club scene in general, everyone is at least getting hammered. Sorry if they couldn't serve your favourite flavour of Kool-Aid.

I don't blame the bouncers, I blame the Miami PD who unnessarily kept me there until Sunday morning, sitting in a holding cell with the A/C way up, who didnt' read my miranda rights, who wrapped those tight plastic cuffs around my wrists (which still somewhat hurts), who made me walk all the way to South Beach (5-6 miles) in these lousy slippers, and who STILL have my wallet, watch, belt and fuckign shoes at 1100 Washington, all the while dealing with BS from the guards.

I'm pissed that I had to go through all that shit...I've never been arrested before ever. And Canada is much as my country as it yours, who the hell said its solely yours? You're making it look like as if I"m some fucked up e-tard (which I've never done, nor coke) who is just into these events to get fucked up. I hope you know I DJ this music too, I have several autographs and I purchase the mix comps and therefore support the scene. OH yeah, I legitamately buy my tix for ALL events.

Maybe you should bash that other other dude who blantantly admitted to jumping the fence and sneaking in. That guy is what's more wrong with the scene than me.

Yeah I'll be at Footwork seeing Loco Dice, so don't worry I won't get drunk and be an ambarassment to "your" country. I'll try changing the laws so that all the clubs only serve Tropicana from now on.
