I like fluffy & pretty, but I was kind of bored with his set too. Maybe he shouldn't have followed Moby. I don't know why, but PvD just never really connects with me.

True, but he is known more as a producer than a DJ. I've seen him live a bunch of times (anyone remember him getting naked at the end of his live sets?), but never seen him DJ. I really didn't know what to expect.

He's got so much energy. I think they made a mistake not keeping the camera on him more at EDC. He's got such a likeable personality.

la times review

"Highlights included sets by headliners Moby and Van Dyk. But it was secondary acts like Italys Benny Benassi who stole the show. The Satisfaction purveyor wowed the masses with a varied electro-house set touching on his own offerings such as his Grammy-winning take on Public Enemys Bring the Noise as well as fresh looks at 1990s dance floor classics like Basement Jaxxs Wheres Your Head At and current favorite Busy Ps Rainbow Man."

i know hes just one person but "benny benassi stole the show"
yet everyone on here has basically trashed him....

I REALLY regret not seeing freestylers. Are they the same freestylers that made the "dont stop the rock" song wayy back? If so, did they play it? Wow i would've loved to hear that haha.

Some of those pics are cute & funny but there's a few that look like the girl is getting fingered.

Did I mention that I'd do anything to go back to Moby's set?

I think best 2 hours of my life...

I feel bad for anyone who missed him.

Can't stop listening to Infinity 2008 (Klaas Remix)

Posted by able.h on Jul-01-2008 01:06:

one word to sum it all:
TIRED!

I really wish Ramirez/HCCR would have played longer

Too many DJ's and too little time. I wish I could've caught 'em all! So much to see and hear, and then to have groups of friends everywhere texting you to meet up... couldn't stay in one place too long. EDC should be a two day festival...

i know everyone has hated on benassi but i think it was sick to see him play on a big stage like that. imo it was pretty epic. especially when he played "i am not drunk"...and i was completely drunk.

Posted by ReclusNdangrmnt on Jul-01-2008 04:48:

I gave him a couple respect points for NOT playing Satisfaction, and instead playing Cafe del Mar.

Posted by CrazedOut on Jul-01-2008 04:55:

What was that amazing remix of Porcelain that Moby played?? I can't even describe how I felt when I heard it...

Posted by WiKKid sKiLLz on Jul-01-2008 05:36:
