i dont care what's closer. i have always had a "thing" about lake tahoe and i'm more about the idea of things.

like when i'm at my mom's in the morning, she always asks me if i want tea and it sounds nice when she asks me...like the idea of having some tea. i say "yea make me some". she knows better now, she doesn't even make it, she just goes "ok" and then doesn't make it cuz she knows i won't drink it. lol

wtf.. so you say.. yes make tea but she doesnt do it??

i see why you ask the c0r about your thoughts for guys.... your thoughts are so left field...

It's at least a 4-5 hour drive to Vermont from NYC.

If NYC people take their vacations locally, it's normally either the Jersey Shore or the Poconos

i promise you that if you are on the lake shore then it'll take more than 10-20 min from door step or even entry to car until you make it to countryside...

honestly i dont care if you are right or wrong b/c i can see us naming cities all night and honestly im probably in teh mood to fight each one.. so for our sake i'll just say you win...

well yeah... sounds logical if its a ski weekend... i got no beef with that..

Posted by Slylee on Jul-05-2008 04:33:

because she would always make me the tea since i said i wanted some...but i would never drink it. i would forget about it because i didn't really WANT the tea, it just sounded nice at the time and i thought i wanted it.

so my tea would sit there and get cold on the counter and she would end up dumping it later. now she knows if i say i want some, she's just like "ok" and doesn't make it because she knows i'll forget about it and move on. lol

Dude, I totally forgot about that. You would have an absolute blast up here! Soooooooo much freaking wildlife

And yeah Jamie. I like to have fun in the city, but living there with kids would just make me a worried SOB. I'd rather relax in the burbs.

Confiscated some homemade explosive devices we had and decided to blow them up as we were driving away.

Oh, and never bring your kid brothers sixteen year-old friends along with you. Fucking morons decided to scatter into the forest as soon as someone shouted, "COP! COP!". Two words: poison ivy.

Your two least favourites, of your bro's 'scattering' friends, should immediately be nicknamed 'itchy' and 'scratchy'

Forever.

That is a really nice cabin man. My family used to go camping all the time up in the mountains / by the lakes around here... never really go anymore. It's really beautiful country though.
