Its kinda weird. If i am alone, and i am hungry i just go eat.. doesnt matter if i am alone or not.

For like 3 days i ate alone breakfast/lunch/dinner in a hotel once. Didnt bother me.

That's a hotel where you got TV, books, computer. Continuously eating outside for meals that take 1+ hours gets old fast.

I like eating out .... I dunno maybe becuase i wasnt at a holiday inn which was the difference too. I also enjoy going by myself and drinking a cup of coffee when i travel. Its usually alone.

i don't mind eating by myself or going to the movies by myself or doing anything else completely by myself. i hate making plans and making a big deal out of doing such simple things, and having to worry about coming to a compromise on what you're going to eat or when you're going to eat it, etc. is just too overwhelming for me.

for nice dinners it's more of a social thing, but if i'm just grabbing a quick bite to eat... who cares.

Posted by nchs09 on Jul-28-2008 22:55:

oh i def can not go to the movies by myself.

I once went to a strip club and i was going to meet some friends. Then they didnt show up and i had to leave after waiting in there for 20 or 30 minutes. It was a bit embarrassing. It was highschool so who gives a fuck i guess.

No, I gotcha. What I meant was, instead of accusing her of projection I sought her opinion on the matter.

In my opinion, projection is what this whole thread is about. If you care why a person sits alone, you will think others will care too.

alone, with others, whatever, there's a time and place for everything.

i always kind of chuckle at the fatties i see eating by themselves at the casino buffets. then i get pissed cause they're so fat and i'm like, "PUT THE FORK DOWN FATTY"

this reminds me of the last time i was at the beach, two fat chicks were eating mcdonald's in their bathing suits. it looked so ridiculously stereotypical, like something you'd see in a "fat america" internet gif

I can only eat by myself if I'm on holiday. Having a baguette right in front of the Eiffel Tower doesn't require friends to make it good but I enjoy eating with others more.

Hahaha

Good thing some people here can relate. Some great responses to this thread, eating alone is something ive always had a hard time doing. I admit being peranoid about it - but seriously, who likes to be alone.

Im not one of those people: yet i always find myself in that situation.

I hate stares - maybe thats why i dont like to smoke and toke up. Im one of those peranoid freaks that thinks everyone is staring at him and shit. Some people know what i mean.

Being blaze and eating alone: i can only imagine.

I hate eating with people.

I've never been bothered by eating alone. I used to go into a fried chicken joint on the way home from my friend's every Friday evening, and just sit down and eat on my own while drunks came in and out around me. Often when I'm shopping on my own in town I'll sit down in KFC with a magazine I've bought, take up a whole table to myself and just enjoy the meal.

Weirdly, I find the concept of going to the cinema alone more difficult. I have no problem with watching films alone while at home, but the cinema has always been a social experience for me. Talking about the film after you come out the doors is part of the appeal for me. Going on my own would feel incomplete.

The first time I saw a movie alone was Passion of the Christ when I snuck in after something else for an impromptu double feature. I felt kinda bad about it, especially when I realized it was easter, but it was awesome walking out because nobody was there to give me any shit about it.

Ever since then I really enjoy going to movies alone.

Posted by wotyzoid on Jul-31-2008 19:15:

I always sneak in afterwards if it's early.

I know what you mean - i was pretty much dragged into being here. But Im contantly going back in forward from here [Cortazar to Celaya]

Should be back in the states [Houston] within a week. Theres no money atm, so im just passin by here to do - what i was set out to do: and return home.

In time i will return to Mexico and check out all the other neat places.

[shame on me for now]

I don't. Do you know how hard it is to eat an entire human baby in one sitting by yourself?
