As far as 3 deck d.j.s of that ilk go, I'd take Claude Young or Ben Sims over Mills any day. Young in particular was always just ridiculous whenever he rode into town, sweating rivers, grinning from ear to ear for the entire freakin' ride.
I don't care about genres. If I like a song I like it.
Doesn't matter what it is.
Some people try to hard.
and no, thats not a stab at anyone s none of you are allowed to pretend like it is.
and yes [this is mainly for when Vince reads this] I know I say I hate trance almost constantly but theres always a track or two I can enjoy..

Indeed it would be great to see some of these artists make it back to Canada.. or for the first time like Rachmad.
Some good names on that list. Sucks that Cari's gig at CoZo got canceled. Seemed like a bit of an odd venue for him anyways, especially at like 11pm on a Sunday night or something weird like that I think.
Show up, pay my cover, then find out he's not there. I ask for a refund and the bouncer is all "Whats it matter? not like there are lyrics to sing along to anyways" *chuckle*
Oliver Ho is also Raudive? Here is such a sick track, I have a Ricardo set where he mixes it in with a Gabriel Ananda track that is just madness. However, it's forever ruined that Ananda track for me, as every time I hear it, I expect to hear Here follow it - it works so well its as if it was meant to be that way.
I have a set or two of Ho's kicking around on my HD, they are pretty good.
interesting tread.......all interesting comments
i will say that there is a good chance that a few artists named here will come.
mr clarke and a few other harder guys are long overdue.
but I dont think mills will come back. I offered him the fee the same amount as brand new small car and his agent wanted even more money so its not gonna happen.
but big things are planned this year in techno
neeeeever enough techno techouse OR minimal thaaaank you

skipper speaks that truth...that and he rides his past productions.
still a legend in his own right.
to be honest i could use some juan atkins or model 5000 would be even better.
makes mills look like guetta.

Seriously, any women reading this who consider themselves "into fine dining" - don't ever say that to the man you plan to marry, or any of his friends, relatives, or coworkers. Just trust me on this one. And if you're a man and you consider yourself to be into fine dining, stop being such a fag. |

| Originally posted by DigiNut Indeed I did, and drew a very clear analogy in my response that you seem to have missed or ignored. Here's the Cole's Notes version: Many people believe that exposure alone makes them an expert or connoisseur. It doesn't. |

This city has a thriving Techno scene. I don't see whats to complain about!!! LOL
i could see it getting annoying if you don't like Techno though, but there will always be House in this city. Toronto is always going to be a house hot spot.
