other than lyoto machydo there are no successful people who use karate in the ufc because that style of fighting is useless.

the only reason machydo is successful is that his karate is unorthodox (mui thai blend) and he has very good ju jitsu.

Well, yea, karate alone isn't going to win anything in the UFC but I guess that's just his specialty..
