Actually, although I can't deny having a few (several) blank spots, I can remember a lot of the night with surprising clarity. Most of those memories are of complete nonsense, but they are clear!

"A short flight, and I'm in Toronto. Footwork's the club, and this is where I had one of my top gigs of 2007. Another intimate, friendly club with great sound, out of this world atmosphere, and one of the friendliest crowds out there. The night got off to a slightly awkward start, as again my record bag went missing, thus delaying my entrance to the club. However they seemed to forgive me and all in all I think the night was killer. I did nearly pass out half way through due to lack of food, but someone very kindly went out and got me pizza and milk, for which I'm very grateful! The only down side of this night was that i though my final hour was sloppy and a bit unfocussed. Sorry! "

Yes! He loves the club, and when talk of a residency was tossed around last year on the boat cruise he seemed quite amenable to it.
