olllright just came home...2am... guys finished playing at 1am ish. Kinda dissaopinted with modeselektors set, very mellow like slow DnB/hiphop. They put some like hardcore nazi german drum and bass at the end that made me go nutts, but it was only like 2-3 songs. The rest was kinda lame to be honest, was expecting more electro adn they ended up playing some more gangster slow hiphop borderline music. The guys before modeselektor though... siiiiickkkkkkkk, no idea who it was, but they were sick! dirty dirty evil electro it was very pumping. As of the rest, the second DJ played freakin rap...like sean paul -temperature...euuhhh wtf? 5 james brown songs, love lockdown and other gangster anthems like that, pure crap. I really got annoyed when he put calabria 2007 dumbass song followed by some reggayton piece of shit, i went to each came back for housemiester, SICK!!
the deco was amazing, sound too, the line up was ginormous like 5 miles long gave me BeB flashbacks. We came at 7 though so i had no problem but my friend had to wait for almost more than 1h30.. long!
place was packed!!! more people than at last years misstress barbara and josh wink night, couldnt even move. I spent the night on the balcony.
cant wait for holden next week,....hope theres not gonna be freakin hiphop that time

i will probably end up missing tonight... going to hang out with a friend for their bday
its heard -50 tonight

Frivolous : A+ funky deep techy house. International caliber live set imo. I want to hear this local guy again really soon. His sound has the most addictive groove, i loved it!
Tony Rohr: Some of the hardest darker tech ever heard at a piknic event. totally ripped Igloofest in half. Kids were loving the beats! Awesome live act. you can tell he's been performing it for a while. I most definitely want to hear this again in an afterhour.
Loved it so much, I went to Pearl club after where he played from 1:30 - 3am but it wasn`t even close to be as good to what he played at Igloo.
Damian Schwartz: Hard to follow after Tony Rohr but he did it really well. More of a loopy bass-driven tech house. really deep and dirty. Energy dropped though after Rohr's show, was getting really cold at Igloofest.
Amazing night overall. Not too many people because of the cold so it was perfect. Only a few incidents with annoying little fucking kids I wanted to punch in the face a few times but not nearly as bad as it was on Friday with 6000 teenagers.
i'll upload part of the sets i recorded last night... i need to look at them first and shit
Pictures!

Whats the best time to arrive to avoid these deadly line ups ive heard about?
well i came last friday at 7h20, there was already a lineup, i cut the entire line to get my 5$ ticket :P didnt want to pay 10. but ya after that things just started to get worse and worse, my friends taht came at 8 ish said the line was already getting long, and at 9, forget about it, the place was all packed up and the line was like a mile long, my suggestion, come before 7h30 and just chill inside with some friends, youll save 5$ and an hour of waiting in line in -20 !
holden until what time?!? u think i have a chance to get in if i arrive at 10pm? LOL
