i have everything else.
p.s. no pre parties - i think Tiga is in NY the night before. 
hoping to meet some NYTAs this year considering i'm looking for jobs in NY immediately after DEMF. 
and what's the wristband deal at RenCen? i mean if we have like 5 or 6 people to a room is it going to be a hassle to get extra wristbands for them?

Myra - I am staying alone so I can get extra wristbands if u have a problem.
I kinda can't wait. School is just a lil stressfull and only getting more difficult. So I am a little more worried than excited.
Once I land things will change.
I had so much fun last year and the crew that's coming this year is just 
well yay for sat & sun. i love that adultnapper will be in the beatport stage but Benny Benassi? he was just fine in that detroit stage last year grrrrr...

Definitely excited for this boat cruise...got my tickets almost immediately after i found out about this today and got the $30 price...hope to meet some of you TA's at this party or even earlier during the festival. I know I've met many of you before but was never formally introduced! Detroit is gonna be so much doper this year! I can't wait till I land in Detroit Friday afternoon next week!

CARL CRAIG NAMED CREATIVE DIRECTOR
FOR MOVEMENT 2010
Techno Music legend Carl Craig has been named Creative Director for
Movement 2010. Paxahau made the announcement today as they prepare
for the start of Movement 2009 which is set to begin on Saturday, May
23, 2009 at noon.
�Movement is already a great festival and a successful brand,�
said Craig, �it is an honor to be involved with Movement in this new
capacity. I look forward to working with the team from Paxahau to
take the artistic vision for the festival to a new level.�
In his new role Craig will be involved in various creative aspects of
Movement including artist bookings and the festival�s brand image.
He will also serve as an ambassador for the Movement festival as he
travels the globe performing for throngs of electronic music
enthusiasts.
�Detroit is such a wonderful music town,� Craig continued.
�With Movement we have such a great opportunity to remind people
from around the world and those that are right here in our own
backyard that electronic music in Detroit is very powerful and that
our annual festival is the best stage for showcasing the most talented
artists of this musical genre.�
The annual Memorial Day Weekend festival has gone through several
reincarnations since its beginning in 2000. Paxahau earned the right
in 2006 to produce the festival. Since then they have been credited
with bringing financial stability to the once fledgling festival and
developing a festival atmosphere that appeals to fans because of the
high standard of production quality they demand and their ability to
book major local and international artists year after year.
Paxahau representatives were elated when Craig agreed to become
creative director and believe his involvement will strengthen the
future of the Movement festival in Detroit.

Dear! What a minnnnnd fuk. He closed down 3 parties - inclusing the underground "made in detroit" stage last night as Audion. Words can not express the madness that ensued when he becomes Audion.
TA's said it best "Dear is a fuking Psychopath!" The shit that was going on in that stage last night is just... ridiculous.
I saw him close 2 of the 3 parties he played - other ta's saw the third.
2nd day he wasn't even on the bill but ended up tag teaming with Ryan Elliot from 3 - 4:30pm. Closing the Resolute after party.
This was a complete surprise and each of them were constantly one-upping each other after each song they played.
Surprise tag team and just Dear as Audion alone makes him the baddest motherfuker @ DEMF 2009.

As you guys enjoyed Matthew Dear @ DEMF...Loco Dice & Luciano rocked my world...to hear them destory it for 3 hrs @ the festival and continue the onslaught on the boat for another 4-5 hrs was quite amazing! I'm sure I met some of you at the festival too
