I don't care about the drugs, but the place is a hole, and I still firmly believe that people's memories and feelings about the place are coloured by sketch haze and groupthink. I have been there a number of times in the past, sober, and have never gotten the impression that any DJs play better there; and the crowd is really seriously fucked up if you pay much attention.

I'm not saying you can't have lots of fun there. Of course you can! But the OP saying that it's one of the best clubs in Toronto? Puh-leeze...

I haven't been there since once in 2000 and one other time in 2001 so maybe they don't have the elves anymore.

It wouldn't be that hard to show that the police presence there far outweighs the presence inside any other club.
