Exactly! I can't relate to rocks either - but I don't hate rocks, because everyone else can't relate to them either, so there isn't any kind of expectancy that you're supposed to go all mushy when you see rocks. Besides, rocks are quiet. Kids are fucking annoying.

I don't know why I started talking about rocks, but now that we're on the subject, rocks are so much more awesome than babies.

You know what you can do with rocks? You can kick them. God I want to kick babies so hard sometimes, but I can't.

See, I am 100% with you there. The worst part about kids are people's expectations of them or how we are supposed to react to or treat them, etc. Many of these expectations make sense, but many of them are stupid and pointless, and it's really not the childrens' fault at all.

Someone not preferring to be around children does not mean that at all. When I was younger I used to teach little shits swimming for a summer job, I could not stand it, and I was pretty good at dealing with kids.

Kids are fucking stupid and I'm smarter than them!

I have a boy turning 9 in July, I am not one of those parents that imposes their child on anyone. I love my kid and generally people always comment to me about how they love him too, even some people who don't like children have mentioned this. He is well behaved and often funny. To me I think it depends on the kid. When it comes to other people's kids, some are annoying and some kids are sweet and loveable.

If someone's kid is an absolute terror, I am inclined not to want to deal with them or set up play dates with my child since I don't want this type of behaviour to rub off on him. I know later on in life as he gains more independance this may not be in my control but for right now it is.

Yes that would be much better! People hate things for a reason otherwise wtf are they hating it for. So what if the kid can't talk about physics. That might be a reason for some people. It's certainly one of the reasons for me.

I also don't get along well with retarded people. Why? Because their behavior is often similar to kids. Some people just don't get along well with people who act like that. End of story, i don't care if the person can't help the way they act.

I was a little terror as a kid and certainly not talking about physics. In fact, I definitely would not have gotten along with my kid self.

Being that I don't think wotyzoid has had his age on his profile for quite some time now, I find it highly unlikely that you could possibly infer his relative age unless you have been here for quite longer than it would appear...

And I know people couldn't possibly take me seriously enough anymore to actually glean something from my posts, so it's not as though you are insulting him based on what I said earlier.

I used to hate kids. Once I had one, everything changed.
