i think we should drive this vid to atleast 10 million views on youtube, so they can learn a lesson

| Except this time, Canadians (and the Yanks and the other nations in this) are in Afghanistan by the invitation of Afghan govt with strong UN resolutions (for what it's worth) |
| quote: |
| Sure, there is a strong, but minority that oppose what's going on in Afghanistan, but NATO is not in Afghanistan to conquer the nation, but to help out the people which is a key difference. |
| quote: |
| The victory for NATO here is when the Afghan govt can provide and protect its own people. We're merely there to help them do this. No 'military' solution will win the war in Afghanistan |

Thats how we look at it but you really think the warlords or the Taliban see it this way too? |
| quote: |
Funny thing is I recently heard that Obama wants to start talking to the Taliban. Keep in mind that these are the same people that have been killing our troops and now we are going to sit and talk to them? This mission is huge failure. |
| quote: |
Thats the problem that Afghan gov cannot provide or ptotect anything. so what happens then? how long do we have to wait untill that government can provide and protect the country? |
opium guys...geeeez...I want a poppy seed bagel now...I think...

We harshly critisize americans, their military and their government DAILY. Its a national past time. So please tell me why we Canadians are so whiney on the odd occasion when it happens to us?
Seriously... this country needs to grow up

i think it's funny how there are so many canadians that are more pro american than they are pro canadian.......we bash ourselves so much more than americans would ever bash themselves...nationalism is a big part of their culture whereas self bashing is a big part of ours.....
i don't consider myself to be a sensitive person but i sure as hell am not going to apologize for speaking out and getting hot under the collar when our country and soldiers are insulted....
i really like how there was the attampt to clear with the pubic apology after the fact. makes me sick. and it was the same day that 4 of our boys were killed. ugh.
