Graham,
more than half the people at Cherry Beach were partying the night before and the night before that. The hippies or bohemians or ones in which may dress 'different' are not classified as sketch IMO, and I'm sure most people in this thread can mutually agree that's not who we are referring to.
I'm not gonna go into detail of what I saw because there was just way too much. AM I bashing the party? No, like I said it was quite entertaining. Was guv sketch the night before, yes. It's part of our scene yo. Tell me, would you want to get to know two guys holding each other up, walking around while simultaneously puking.
I'm purely commenting on some evidently sketchy behaviour. I think you are looking way too far into this.
and what's this newbs business? LOL

Next time they need to cook a hog roast over one of them fires.
Unreal! People are actually on here complaining about an amazing party that is free. What is wrong with you?
Fucking babies, don't go next time then.

we need the word sketch to be ******'ed out on TA like the the word ******
we sat around one day trying to think of another word that describes sketch as perfectly.
We failed.

Within 5 feet of me on all sides were a G monkey, a pilled up indian tripping over garbage can, a man dancing up in the tree and that obese girl wrapped in toilet paper with her crew of homos...but did i care? NO! cuz the raw fucking techno was the only thing on my mind making me dance in the cold. Got there 7ish...left at Midnight and it was still going....fun fun fun! |

| Originally posted by MissK interesting accusations. Were we at the same party? LOL Like literally, we sat on the hill and died laughing at all the sketch going on. Like there may have been more non sketch people than sketch. but there was no shortage of sketch. |

I was there between 9 45 and 10 45, the music was meh... regular sleeping minimal, but I still had a good time.
lol @ the sketch debate...there was plenty sketch for obvious reasons...no one's complaining about it..in fact i had a good laugh...and i live in toronto..haha
some guy was tripping so bad he just came out of no where and crashed amongst our stuff (among other hilarious stuff)
"sketch is sketch the same way cake is cake" (a momentarily wise person once said that)

| Originally posted by Skipper I think it's just the broad daylight that makes people say it's so sketch. Someone you wouldn't even notice at guv is suddenly giving themselves a back rub and a lightshow while doing bumps off the back of their hand right in front of you. |
Lol, Graham, you know I'm almost always on the same page as you buddy, but I think maybe someone pissed in your cereal this morning.
Regular Cherry Beach = not very sketchy
Cherry Beach last Monday = quite sketchy
And that is probably because there were a lot more people filtering out from Guv/CZ on account of 2-4. Whatever the reason, whoever the sketchy people were, there was a good helping of sketch.
This is not a complaint, either. Sketchiness comes in many flavours; this wasn't the creepy G monkeys at Guv, it was mostly funny and harmless.

| Originally posted by Cribby QFT I don't think I've ever been so scared in my life, haha. Some highlights: - being chased by a flock of seagulls - red and green power rangers - blueberries - sasquatch people - a multicolored power ranger giving birth to a primary color on the road - "Ursala" the large water demon covered in toilet paper with her band of queer followers - a kung fu battle between a "monkey" and a mountain climber - the "parade" - Shamu sightings Didn't really get a chance to jam to the tunes, but they made great background music to our adventure. Left after it got dark.. couldn't deal with the thought of what kind of sketch would be seen if the daylight was scary enough. LOL. Don't think I'll be back at cherry beach for a while, sadly. |
