Not at all... FW made a smart move offering a discount SO QUICKLY after the news. It was a good marketing move. But free? Makes no sense at all.

Don't blame the promoters for trying to bring you a unique experience like that? It was obviously NOT there fault, and nor could it have been forseen that this would happen.

Everyone who bought tickets is obviously getting they're money back AND FW has been kind enough to offer a reduced cover (less than normal guestlist price).

I know it sucks, but at least these guys TRIED to do an event like this, give them a break...

It was actually foreseen. See earlier threads about this party. I'm not blaming the promoters and wish this event actually happened. After all I bought tickets as soon as they were online.

Although hearing that it was some realty corp v.s. the city seems a bit fishy to me. Some elaboration would be nice.

I've predicted this would happen once I saw the flyer, but didn't want to draw any bad luck towards this event. I assume the city was very protective with an historic land marks.

It's really sad they canned this event and I was hoping at least one event would take off without any problems at least once.

I wish you the best of luck Destiny & Activate and I hope they allow the party to go on.

This is shitty news. I was hoping LKD wasn't being serious when he txt me with the update, but alas... Toronto the grey,bland,boring,serious.... is just that. The thought of partying at such a legendary and unorthodox venue is what intrigued me most about this event. Kudos to everyone involved for having the vision to even attempt this. Should've known it was too good to be true
