LOL at first I saw the title to this thread and figured it was a bump from 2001 or something. Apparently not.

Anywho: mixed genres isn't something new. It's been around for a while and the mix between hip hop and electronic music (which hip hop technically is) has been around for ages. There's so much hip hop influence in the deep soulful house stuff too. The 2 genres compliment eachother very well and they practically go hand in hand.

yes because House djs started copying what hip hop djs did but they added elements that made more sense to them

I don't see how house DJ's started copying anybody. The 2 genres have been around for roughly the same amount of time and neither one copied the other, but have grown together.

When house djs started mixing music together with 2 turntables they copied what hip hop was doing they just put it in a new format. Hip Hop has copied from House as well

...and hip hop djs technically "copied" the jamacian reggae soundsystem. Music is about evolution not copying.

Unless you're *****, then it's all about plagiarism, claiming others ideas as your own, & raping kittens.

and why do you keep bringing kotsy up in your threads? He is either ignoring you or not paying attention to you. I'm sirusly confused.
