I really like Em's flow here:

this was when he was young and still had a fire and had something to talk about tthat was different. i am afraid hes gotten old and tries to fit in too much where hip hop is going instead of leading hip hop down his own unique path

I miss the old Eyedea.

^ eyedea sunn !!! indeed his latest album with abilities by the throat goes in a different direction which they should've branded under a different alias since e&a listeners were expecting their distinct sound from previous albums..but it's all good..

WOULD BE real reallll dope though to see/hear a future album with the og e&a vibe

ill have to give that shad album a listen !

glad to see the graff of TO incorporated in his mv

pshawwww

and so..g8/g20 toronto begins...might hit it up

I'm really liking this.

need more stuff like The Weeknd. Recommendations please.

Not really hip-hop - at all - but it's got a black dude singing (oddly beautifully) about how he needs to request the services of prostitutes, so I'd say it's close enough.

Also, I like the following track. I haven't watched MTV or cared about the charts for nearly 10 years, so have no idea how popular this is. But nearly 10 million views on youtube means it's probably mainstream as fuck:

If this is the way mainstream music is going, sign me up for it. Unfortunately what I listen to in the radio all day long at work is completely rubbish and not like this.

The Weeknd is not bad.

I was reading he performed in Toronto the other day and, of course, Drake was there. Along with 1000 horny women.

If I listen to Drake too much, his voice/style annoys me.
